Brads, Babes, and Bombshells: Meet the Cast of Love Island USA Season 6
The pursuit of love is an innate human desire, and even more so when it is peppered with the possibility of fame. Playing to the basest desires of humankind with a generous helping of drama, Love Island USA season 6 has premiered with a brand-new cast of characters, all ready to find true love — or at the very least, reality-TV infamy. With six episodes airing per week from now until the mid-July finale, fans of the series can expect to watch the drama play out live before their very eyes.
So long as humans have existed, so too has the dance of courtship. Like all living things, humans harbour an innate desire to couple up, whether to further one’s lineage or simply for the pleasure of companionship. Over centuries, the art of courtship has taken many forms, from the matchmaking practices of Ancient China to the marriage mart of Bridgerton’s Regency era and beyond. While we can all agree that dating and courtship have since come a long way, the dating apps of the 21st century leave much to be desired.
Which begs the question: If meeting organically is virtually impossible and dating apps are a breeding ground for frogs in lieu of princes, why not try reality television instead?
Welcome to Love Island
As far as reality television goes, Love Island does not deviate overly much from the blueprint of other shows that hinge upon the premise of finding love. The goal is simple: To stay in the game, islanders must always be coupled up, cannot be ‘dumped’, and must also avoid being voted off the island by their peers.
Assuming couples make it to the end of the show, they must then appeal to the audience, in whose hands lie the power to name a winning pair. The couple is then presented with two envelopes: One containing USD 100,000 and the other containing nothing. The islander who receives the USD 100,000 must then decide whether they wish to share their bounty with their partner, thus making for some rather juicy drama where mankind’s selfishness vs selflessness is put to the test.
However, it wouldn’t be a reality TV show without the producers throwing in a wrench (or three) to cause chaos, confusion, and some measure of hilarity. To start, only 10 OG islanders enter the villa in which contestants stay for the duration of the show; however, as the show progresses, dramatic temptations are added to the cast in the form of ‘bombshells’. As the name might suggest, these bombshells are new contestants whose sole purpose lies in sabotaging current couples for a chance at succeeding themselves — and they often succeed, on the premise that they are ‘far too hot to resist’. Yes, we know it’s a problematic notion. No, we will not get into it.
Beyond the threat of bombshells, islanders are also required to share beds with their partners, but with one caveat: There are only two bedrooms in the villa. The first, ‘The Hideaway’, is reserved for ‘special occasions’, whilst the second serves as a shared bedroom in which everybody sleeps. As one might expect, this presents a significant problem for islanders who snore, sleepwalk, or just plain hate sharing beds.
But, it makes for an entertaining watch, and where reality TV is concerned, that’s really all that matters.
What’s new on Love Island season 6?
Ariana Madix joins Love Island as host
For season 6, Love Island USA welcomes into its cast a brand new host: TV personality, model, businesswoman, and actress Ariana Madix. Madix, who has appeared in Vanderpump Rules and Dancing With The Stars is no stranger to Love Island, having made a guest appearance in season 5. She also appeared as a special guest host in three episodes of season 1 of Love Island Games.
Madix’s appointment to Love Island follows the departure of Sarah Hyland, who had hosted Seasons 4 and 5.
A brand-new Villa
Season 6 of Love Island USA kicks off by welcoming its cast of islanders to an exquisite, brand-new villa, located in the Mamanuca Islands of Fiji. Custom-built for the series under the expert guidance of production designer Richard Jensen, the sunny villa proffers lush views of the glittering aquamarine ocean, ushering islanders into heaven on earth where they can experience the inimitable joys of falling in love.
With a buildup of 50,000 square feet, the villa was constructed with the help of over 50 local craftsmen, showcasing exquisite design both inside and out. Two pools, a beachside confessional, and extraordinary interiors facilitate the needs of the show and its contestants; it is likewise decorated with four miles of neon lights, along with nineteen miles of fairy lights to set the mood.
After the fun, Aftersun
This season also marks the debut of Love Island Aftersun, a weekly chat series aimed at unravelling all the drama on the island. New episodes of Love Island Aftersun are slated to drop every Saturday, with the first episode having debuted on June 15.

Meet the cast of Love Island season 6
Aaron Evans

Profession: Deckhand
Reality TV fans will find a familiar face in Aaron Evans, who walked away the winner of The Traitors UK Season 1 back in 2022. The 26-year-old, who was an estate agent when he first appeared on The Traitors, is now working as a deckhand on yachts. He also boasts appearances on Mastermind and First Dates. As a reality TV mainstay, Evans has garnered a reputation for his sweet and friendly personality, the proof of which exists in his positive social media presence.
Having survived the shenanigans of The Traitors, performing tasks that involve jumping out of a helicopter, Evans is now looking for love. Since his arrival at the villa, Evans has been paired up with fellow contestant Kaylor Martin, and the duo appear to be going strong. Will their budding love survive the chaos of Love Island? Nobody knows, but that won’t stop us from watching.
JaNa Craig
Age: 27
From: Las Vegas, Nevada
Profession: Day Trader
A vivacious Sagittarius native brimming with self-confidence, 27-year-old JaNa currently works as a day trader. She has been the CEO of her own company JC Ventures LLC since 2018, specialising in the redistribution of brand-name products on major sales channels. She has also held a job as a cocktail server at Fluxx Nightclub.
While JaNa currently lives in Las Vegas, she is originally from Hawaii and Japan, and can speak both Japanese and Spanish in addition to English. With a bubbly personality and a zest for life, she is active on Instagram, TikTok, and YouTube. Interestingly, the OG islander shared that she once spent eight and a half days on a Facetime call, which points at her love of companionship – something that she is hopeful of finding in the villa.
Kaylor Martin
Age: 22
From: Connellsville, Pennsylvania
Profession: Graduate
A 22-year-old graduate from Cornnellsville, Kaylor Martin is currently undertaking a master’s degree in Autism Behaviour Analysis. Having made her bubbly debut as ‘the wild one who pours shots down people’s mouths’, Martin is dedicated to being unapologetically herself, saying, “If you can’t handle all this, then, goodbye!”
Martin has since demonstrated a strong sense of self-worth, refusing to settle for being the second choice of current beau Aaron Evans. Evans, whose affections were briefly thrown off-track by a Bombshell-shaped distraction in recent footage, eventually chose to stick by Martin. However, following the Casa Amor shakeup on episode 17, the couple broke off their relationship.
Kendall Washington

From: Dallas, Texas
Profession: Territory manager
Born in San Diego, Kendall Washington believes that his ‘rizz’ is a ‘ten out of ten’. As a territory manager responsible for driving the sales of medical devices, Washington, who is a San Diego native, now lives in Dallas Texas, where he leverages his charisma and communication skills to build lasting relationships in his industry. As an OG islander on Love Island USA season 6, Washington’s charm and enthusiasm for life is a welcome addition to the villa; while initially partnered up with fellow OG islander Hannah Smith, he soon changed tack, and is now partnered up with Nicole Jacky, who entered the villa on day 6.
Kordell Beckham
Age: 21
From: Dallas, Texas
Profession: Aircraft fueler and model
A self-proclaimed ‘short king’, 21-year-old Kordell Beckham is not afraid to talk to ‘tall women’. As the brother of NFL star Odell Beckham Jr., Kordell can certainly boast of having star connections — however, given his own brand of charm and his athletic background, he needs no help gaining fans and friends alike. While Beckham was partnered up with fellow OG islander Serena Page up to day 16, they eventually parted ways. As of day 20, he is partnered up with Daia McGhee.
Leah Kateb
Age: 24
From: Bell Canyon, California
Profession: Student
A student from Bell Canyon, California, Leah Kateb was born in Los Angeles to Persian parents, and speaks Farsi fluently. Harbouring a deep and abiding love of animals, she shares her home with three dogs, three horses, and several pigs. A self-proclaimed spotter of ‘red flags’, she lives an active social life, and has attended the renowned music festival Coachella. While she started off her Love Island stint partnered with Rob Rausch (who would eventually turn out to be a two-timing red flag), she went on to couple up with Connor Newsum. As of the most recent episode, Leah is single.
Robert “Rob” Rausch
Age: 25
From: Florence, Alabama
Profession: Snake wrangler
A veritable walking red flag whose time on Love Island has been inundated by drama and double-dipping, Robert “Rob” Rausch is no stranger to the villa. While Rausch appeared as a bombshell in season 5 of Love Island, he was unfortunately dumped five days later. This go-around, Rausch, who interestingly works as a snake wrangler, appears to have settled on a plan to secure his airtime on the show — playing the part of a two-timing snake himself. From blindsiding his original partner Leah to threatening to follow Andrea in the wake of her island exit, Rausch has demonstrated that he’s playing by nobody’s rules, but his own.

Profession: Media Planner
Hailing from sunny Los Angeles, 24-year-old media planner Serena Page ‘loves a short king’, believing them to be very confident. With a vibrant laugh that can ‘be heard seven countries away’, Page is a bubbly addition to the villa. As fate would have it, she has been shacked up with the island’s short king, Kordell, since day one. However, as of day 20, Serena is single.
Hannah Smith
Age: 26
From: Charlotte, North Carolina
Profession: Bottle server
Bottle server Hannah Smith from Charlotte is a Scorpio, who believes that ‘what you see is what you get’ insofar as she is concerned. Unfortunately, the other OG islanders did not appear to like what they saw, and so Smith was left without a partner after a recoupling. As of now, she has been eliminated from the island.
Coye Simmons
Age: 28
From: Winston-Salem, North Carolina
Profession: School district unit director
A self-proclaimed ‘Big teddy bear heart’, 28-year-old Coye Simmons holds a job as a school district unit director. Standing at a staggering 6’8”, the gentle giant was unfortunately dumped from the island after only three days, as he failed to secure a match.
Olivia “Liv” Walker
Age: 21
From: Sydney, New South Wales, Australia
Profession: College student
Despite making a late arrival into the villa with a day 2 entrance, 21-year-old college student and ordained minister Olivia “Liv” Walker was quick to turn heads amongst fellow islanders with her sparkling personality and striking good looks. Her Love Island couplings to date include entanglements with Rob, Hakeen, and Miguel. As of day 20, she is coupled up with Caine.
Connor Newsum
Age: 28
From: Santa Monica, California
Profession: PR Specialist
Entering the villa on day 2 alongside Hakeem and Liv, PR specialist Connor Newsum is an avid marathoner, having participated in seven across the years. In addition to that, he has also taken part in five triathlons, cementing his place as one of the most athletic cast members in season 6 of Love Island USA.
The 28-year-old, who has a bachelor’s degree in journalism and public relations from California State University, Northridge, revealed that he struggled with depression during graduation, causing a decline in his grades and work. However, things took a turn for the better when he discovered triathlons, and he has since committed to celebrating his birthdays by running his age in miles every year. He recently ran 28 miles in celebration of his 28th birthday. Connor was unfortunately dumped on day 15, leading to his departure from the villa.
Hakeem White
Age: 29
From: Miami, Florida
Profession: Online fitness and business coach
Entering the villa on day 2 alongside Connor and Liv, Hakeem is a 29-year-old online fitness and business coach from Miami. Hailing from Jamaica, White, who became a millionaire at age 26, now lives in Miami. While he was initially coupled up with JaNa, Hakeem was eventually dumped on day 11, leading to his departure from the show.
Nicole Jacky
Age: 26
From: Sacramento, California
Profession: Medical sales
A University of Nevada graduate and former athlete, 26-year-old Nicole Jacky entered Love Island on day 6 as a bombshell, immediately causing a stir amongst the islanders. She has since been coupled up with Kendall, despite facing elimination in a public vote. As of now, the pair are still together.
Andrea Carmona
Age: 25
From: Miami, Florida
Profession: Singer-songwriter and personal trainer
Entering the villa alongside Nicole, Andrea immediately caught the eye of Rob, and eventually managed to snatch him from Leah. However, she was eventually unceremoniously dumped from the villa when Liv, Serena, Kaylor, and Leah voted for her removal from the island.
In her dramatic exit from the island, Andrea appeared to show genuine depth of feeling for Rob, who went on to threaten his own departure in pursuit of his eliminated love. Spoiler alert: He stayed on.
Miguel Harichi
Age: 27
From: Camden, London
Profession: Model
The only bombshell to enter the island on day 9, 27-year-old fitness model Miguel Harichi got to kiss and tell when his arrival was timed to coincide with a kissing challenge. Hailing from Camden, London, Harichi, who calls himself a ‘six foot king’, is currently paired up with Leah. Beyond modelling, he also has acting credits, and most notably, appeared in Ted Lasso as Danthony.
Cassidy Laudano
Age: 27
From: Miami, Florida
Profession: Online Influencer
Bombshell blonde Cassidy Laudano entered the villa on day 13 alongside Kenny Rodriguez and Nigel Okafor. Speaking on what she hopes to find on Love Island USA, Laudano shared that she hoped to find a dog dad for her two dogs back home. While she indulged a boat date with Miguel, she soon opted to recouple with Rob. Cassidy was eventually dumped on day 16.

Fitness influencer Kenny Rodriguez entered the villa alongside Cassidy and Nigel on day 13. At 24 years of age, Rodriguez is slated to become one of the youngest islanders on the show; however, there is already trouble brewing on the horizon, outside television. In the wake of his reveal as one of the newest bombshell cast members in Love Island USA season 6, a woman named Hannah Melin has come forward claiming that Rodriguez and she had been in a situationship for the past four years.
In a now-deleted TikTok, Melin shared that she had been shocked when she saw Rodriguez on the show, adding, “My jaw has never dropped so low in my life.” As of day 20, Rodriguez is coupled up with Catherine.
Nigel Okafor

From: Houston, Texas
Profession: Bodybuilder
Entering the villa alongside Cassidy and Kenny on day 13, 28-year-old Nigel Okafor is a bodybuilder who hails from Houston, Texas. While he initially enjoyed a boat date with Serena, he has since chosen to couple up with Liv. Kenny was eventually dumped on day 16.

Hailing from Oregon and Arizona, Catherine is a 24-year-old Arian native with Dominican roots who currently works as a personal assistant; she is multilingual, being fluent in both English and Spanish. She entered Love Island on day 17 as part of the Casa Amor shuffle, and as of day 20, she is partnered up with Kenny.
Daia McGee

When Daia McGee joined the gentlemen at Casa Amor on day 17, she made an immediate beeline for Kordell Beckham — while the couple appear to have cemented their relationship with a day 20 coupling, the internet is bubbling with conspiracy theories. With tinfoil hats and theories in tow, denizens of the internet unearthed evidence on social media that place McGee in close quarters with Beckham’s older brother, footballer Odell Beckham Jr.
Given McGee’s history with the Beckhams, fans of the show have begun questioning her true intentions, with some suggesting that she may have had some ulterior motives for joining Love Island.
Daniela Ortiz-Rivera
Age: 22
From: Orlando, Florida
Profession: College Student
One of the youngest participants on Love Island, Daniela is a college student who hails from Orlando, Florida. An active participant in school extracurriculars, she has done ballet, basketball, cheering, and even soccer. Introduced on day 17 as a bombshell, the Taurian native has Latin American ancestry and all the fiery charm of a latina!
Sierra Mills
Age: 22
From: Escondido, California
Profession: Administrative Assistant
Born on September 18 2001, Sierra is a 22-year-old administrative assistant and bottle waitress who hails from California. She owns a French bulldog named Pierre, and her favourite movie is Twilight. Introduced alongside numerous other bombshells on day 17, she nonetheless ended up dumped by day 20 after a brief coupling with Miguel.
Destiny Herzog

From: Scottsdale, Arizona
Profession: Model
Yet another 22-year-old to join the youngest members of the cast on Love Island, Destiny Herzog hails from Scottsdale, Arizona, where she works as a model. Her credentials including walking the runway during Miami Swim Week, and she also holds three passports. In spite of her sparkling smile and good looks, she failed to couple up and was dumped on day 20.
George Vining

From: Macon, Georgia
Profession: Lab Research Assistant
23-year-old George Vining entered the villa as a bombshell on day 17. His friends describe him as a hopeless romantic. However, he was quickly sent home on day 20 when nobody chose to couple with him.
Ignacio Ferrari

When 28-year-old model Ignacio Ferrari from Argentina entered Casa Amor on day 17, he did so alongside numerous other new bombshells. However, despite his good looks, his multilingual abilities (he speaks fluent Portuguese), and the ability to do 200 squats in a row, Ferrari failed to secure a match and was dumped on day 20.

Jacobi Graham entered Casa Amor on day 17 as a bombshell. Hailing from Louisiana, the 23-year-old personal trainer has never been in a relationship, and had hoped to change that with his Love Island USA stint; unfortunately, he was dumped on day 20 when he failed to secure a match.
