Zach Roloff and Wife Tori Want Three or Four Kids: We Were Built for This Family Life
Zach and Tori Roloff, stars of Little People Big World, have just welcomed their second child, daughter Lilah Ray, this past November. But it seems the couple is far from done expanding their family. In an exclusive interview with People magazine, Tori revealed that while she initially thought two kids would be her max, she’s now open to having more children. Zach echoed her sentiment, saying, “I could do three or four.”
As parents to 2-year-old Jackson and newborn Lilah, the couple is adjusting to the demands of raising a toddler and an infant simultaneously. With Lilah, who Tori affectionately calls “Miss Personality” for her expressive nature, currently undergoing sleep training, it’s been a major shift for the Roloffs. But despite the challenges, they couldn’t be happier with their growing family.
Raising Kids with Dwarfism: A Family Built for This Life
Tori and Zach both have achondroplasia, the most common form of dwarfism, and both of their children, Jackson and Lilah, were born with the same condition. While they’re used to living in a world that’s not always built for their size, Tori says it’s just “normal” to her. “I forget a lot of times that I’m the only average height person in my family,” she shared. “It’s just so normal to us.”
Despite the challenges they face in a world not always designed for people with dwarfism, Tori and Zach say they’re embracing every moment of their parenting journey. “Zach and I always say that we were built for this family life,” Tori adds with a smile. “We love the season we’re in right now.”
While they don’t have immediate plans for more children, Zach is quick to remind fans that it’s still a bit early to make any decisions. “It’s probably a little early for Tori to be thinking about that,” he jokes. But for now, the couple is soaking in the joy of raising their little ones, and fans can see how much love they have for their growing family.
Tori’s Heartfelt Message About Jackson
Tori has always kept it real with her fans on social media, sharing the highs and lows of parenthood. Over Memorial Day weekend, she posted a photo of her family at an amusement park, with Jackson front and center. In her heartfelt caption, Tori shared a touching moment that reminded her of how different life can be for her son.
“I often forget that my son is any different than yours,” Tori wrote. “I forget that he has shorter legs because he can get around and run just like any other 2-year-old. I forget that he has short arms because he can still reach everything around the house—even the stuff we don’t want him to.”
However, there was a bittersweet moment when Jackson, excited to ride the airplanes at the park, was unable to join other kids due to height requirements. “He wanted so badly to ride the airplanes, but the height requirement wouldn’t allow him to,” Tori continued. “And I totally understand why, but it still hurts my heart.”
Tori’s emotional message resonated with many of her followers, who praised her for being so open and honest about the challenges of raising a child with dwarfism.
What’s Next for the Roloff Family?
As Zach and Tori continue to navigate the joys and challenges of parenthood, they remain committed to raising their children in a loving, supportive environment. The couple has no immediate plans for a third child, but with their openness and love for family, it’s clear that the Roloffs are ready for whatever the future holds.
