Reflections on Work and Relationships
Jonas, I feel like you’re working beneath your level here. I notice it too. Things aren’t flowing, and honestly, it’s not going well. I’ve been thinking about it, and I’m considering moving on to work with smarter people. I can’t keep dealing with the ordinary drama of this group.
I’ve already proposed working with some people who I think are great, and I want to follow through with it, but I also want to keep my options open. If things don’t work out, I’ll let you know. There’s no chance of that happening, though.
You know, it’s funny, this younger guy seems to give up easily. He should be thinking about his future, but who knows. I used to have a good relationship with Maarten; we worked together a lot when I was the editor-in-chief of his magazine. He’s a great guy, but it’s the same routine every night with him, like playing the same act. Let him laugh, though. Johan’s laughing at himself now, as he does every time.
But you see, it’s becoming repetitive. It’s like this performance every evening, and it’s getting old. I’m just trying to focus on more productive things, not waste time with this act anymore.
