Season 3 Review of “Zima”

Hello Zima fans! It’s time for me to share my thoughts on Season 3 of this series. After watching several episodes, I still stand by my initial opinion about this season—there were a few things I liked, but overall, it didn’t meet my expectations.

Things I Liked
Season 3 has some positive points, such as the introduction of Preston and Amir’s performance as Jeremiah. Every scene he appears in is very impactful, especially when he shows up at the end of Episode 1—I was genuinely concerned for Fatima because I had no idea what Jeremiah would do next. Even though Jeremiah is just a supporting character, his role stands out. Preston, while a supporting character as well, had moments where his actions were more impressive than in previous seasons.

Things I Didn’t Like
The biggest issue for me was Fatima in this season. Her relationship with Zach was portrayed very weakly, and I felt that Fatima no longer had the strong qualities I liked from earlier seasons. The way she treated Zach when he got into trouble also disappointed me. The fact that Fatima didn’t face any consequences for destroying Deja’s property felt highly unrealistic. If Zach had done that, people would have reacted strongly against him.

New Characters and Conflict
This season introduced characters like Leslie and Malachi, who created strong conflicts that truly changed the dynamics of the main characters’ relationships. These people come from Fatima’s past and have the potential to break apart her relationship with Zach.

Season 3 and Moving Toward Season 4
Although this season wasn’t perfect, it did a good job laying the foundation for events in Season 4. The season’s finale was very intriguing, especially with the exploration of the aftermath of the shooting incident and the relationships that will develop in the future.

Conclusion
In conclusion, while there were some good scenes and excellent performances from a few characters, Season 3 of Zima wasn’t what I expected. The handling of the relationships and main characters diminished the appeal of this season. Hopefully, Season 4 will address the shortcomings in this one.
