Tyler Perry’s Sistas | Will Tamera’s Depature Cause Hayden To Revert To His Old Ways?
I didn’t mean to startle you. What are you still doing here?
“I needed to talk to you.”
“I can’t think of anything you need to talk to me about. And no, I am not hooking you up with Chaz Duncan, so save that request.”
“I just wanted to apologize.”
“Apologize? Save it for your man. He might think I broke up with Hayden so I wouldn’t be around anymore.”
Well, folks, it seems that the ever-lovable yet chaotic Tamara may have officially left the show. While nothing is confirmed, this week’s episode strongly suggests that this was her final bow. That said, she did leave a tiny breadcrumb for the future—she gave Fatima a business card promoting her online lace front hair business. So there’s always a chance we might see her again.
Interestingly, this opens the door for a potential brand partnership storyline. Think about Pam from Roots to Riches, another secondary character who’s using her own haircare products to build a brand. It’s possible that Pam could approach Tamara as a brand ambassador, much like Maurice is linked to RTR. Tamara could showcase Pam’s products on her lace fronts, creating a storyline for promotion, and that could be fun to watch. I’m not saying it’s guaranteed, but it would definitely be entertaining if it happened.
If Tamara is truly gone, I’ll admit—I’m disappointed. I genuinely enjoy her presence on the show for so many reasons. However, my biggest concern now is Hayden. I hope her departure doesn’t send him back to his old, arrogant, bitter self. I’ve actually liked Hayden this season. His partnership with Fatima, especially in working with the ball players, has been really refreshing. I don’t want him to slip back into blaming Fatima for all his problems or getting stuck in bitterness over Tamara.
Tamara’s reasoning made sense, though. She explained that she couldn’t just sit around every day worrying about Hayden’s jealousy over Gary. Let’s be real—Hayden saw through the situation. The past is the past, but Tamara’s actions—cheating, finding new marks—made things complicated. From what I can tell, she’s packed her bags and left for good. The exact status of their relationship is murky: married, then apart, then back in season 7, then a messy entanglement with Gary—but now, it seems, it’s over.
I also loved Fatima’s reaction in that scene. Her expression said it all: “I accept your apology, but we ain’t kumbaya-ing here.” That perfectly summed up the closure. Tamara may be gone, but peace was made—at least with Fatima.
So, what do you all think? Is Tamara gone for good, or might she pop up again? Could she visit Gary? And what about a potential collaboration with Pam and her lace front business—Roots to Riches meets Tamara’s brand?
