Tori Roloff Shares Sweet Photos of Lilah and Jackson’s First Day of School
Tori Roloff, star of Little People Big World, has been busy celebrating her kids as they head back to school this season. Along with husband Zach Roloff, the couple has three adorable children: Jackson, 6, Lila Ray, 3, and 16-month-old Josiah. And this year, Tori is especially excited to share the big milestones of her older two kids as they embark on new educational adventures.
Lila’s First Day of School: A Milestone Moment
For Lila, it was a major milestone—her first-ever first day of school! Tori couldn’t contain her excitement as she posted photos of her sweet girl on Instagram, celebrating the moment. “Our sweet Lila girl, happy first day of school EVER! We are so proud of you!” Tori wrote, reflecting on her daughter’s confidence as she set off for preschool.
Tori continued, sharing that Lila walked into school with excitement, ready to take on the year. “She has the sweetest teacher ever and is ready to take on the school year,” Tori added, jokingly noting that the only thing Lila wasn’t quite ready for was her name tag! The proud mom also expressed how emotional the moment was for her. “I got misty-eyed as I walked out because I’m so proud of how far our girl has come in her confidence with herself. Love you, Bean,” Tori wrote, showing just how much this milestone meant to her.
Jackson’s First Day of First Grade
Meanwhile, for Jackson, it was his first day of first grade—a major step for the 6-year-old. Tori kept her post simple but full of love: “First day of first grade for my first born! Love you Jay,” she wrote, marking the beginning of a new chapter in her son’s life.
Grandma Amy Roloff also chimed in on the post, commenting, “What? How can this be already? He looks so grown up. Jackson, I hope you have the best first day of first grade and a great year ahead. Learn all you can. I’m so proud of you!”
Jackson’s Journey: Overcoming Challenges
Earlier this year, Tori shared a deeply personal story about Jackson’s journey. In 2021, Jackson had surgery to correct the bowing in his legs, a challenge he’s faced from a young age. Tori opened up about how Jackson began to notice differences between himself and other kids, especially when it came to sports.
She recalled a conversation with Jackson during a sports game, where other children asked him why he was smaller. Tori explained that the other kids weren’t bullying him—they were simply curious. She reassured Jackson, telling him, “That’s how God made you. Now show them how fast you are.”
In a heartfelt message, Tori shared her prayers for Jackson. “I pray that you notice that you are different, that God has set you apart from all other people. I pray you’re different in how you see and love others, in the choices you make, and in how you solve problems,” she said, emphasizing how special Jackson is, not just in his physical traits but in his heart and mind.
