The Fate of ‘Rescue HI-Surf,’ Fox’s ‘9-1-1’ Replacement Has Been Decided
Rescue: H1-Surf follows the dedicated lifeguards who live off the coast of the North Shore of O’ahu as they work together to save people’s lives in some of the most treacherous conditions on Earth. There were six stars to feature in all 19 episodes of Rescue: H1-Surf, and leading the charge is Robbie Magasiva, who stars as Harlan ‘Sonny’ Jennings in the series. Following behind him in lead roles are Erielle Kebbel and Adam Demos as Emily ‘Em’ Wright and Will Ready. Kekoa Kekumano, Zoe Cipres, and Alex Aiono also star in all 19 episodes of the show as Lake Honahano, Hina, and Kainalu. Fans may know Kekumano from playing a young Arthur Curry to Jason Momoa’s older version in Aquaman. Rescue: H1-Surf was written and created for television by Matt Kester, with Ryan Martinez-Slattery, Michelle Lesley Johnson, and more all working in the writer’s room.
Where Is ‘Rescue: H1-Surf’ Streaming?
Rescue: H1-Surf aired new episodes every Monday night, and they began streaming on Hulu the following day. All 19 episodes of the series can be streamed on Hulu. Loren Yaconelli directed the most episodes of Rescue: H1-Surf, with five, and she’s also known for her work on other shows such as The Walking Dead: Dead City and The Walking Dead: World Beyond. Andi Armaganian, Avi Youabian, and John Wells each directed two episodes of the lifeguard series, with Kevin Berlandi, Erin Lau, Sherwin Silati, Shaz Bennett, Danielle Eisman, and more coming on board to helm various installments.
