Rachel Reilly Returns to ‘Big Brother 27’ Ready to Strike Fear in Houseguests

Rachel Reilly is back in the “Big Brother” house with a clear goal: make sure every houseguest knows exactly who they’re dealing with.

The Season 13 winner made her big return during the “Big Brother 27” premiere, entering as a surprise 17th houseguest and immediately planning to take control. With her usual confidence, Reilly isn’t holding back about wanting to scare the new players who thought they’d be the stars this summer.

“I think the other house guests thought that they came here to be the stars of Big Brother, and they have another shocker coming because I’m here,” Reilly said in an interview with Entertainment Tonight prior to returning to the house. “I think they’re gonna be obsessed. And I think they’re gonna be excited. I’m sure I’m gonna have people that love me, people that hate me, and people that love to hate me.”

The reality TV star made it clear that she wants her fellow competitors to feel worried about her being there. When asked about how other houseguests should react to her arrival, Reilly was direct: “The house guests should feel terrified.”

Reilly’s entrance wasn’t just about making a statement, it came with built-in advantages. As a late arrival to the house, she was placed in the Have-Not room for the week, but she received automatic safety from being voted out, along with three other houseguests she had chosen. This protection gives her time to figure out the house while building important early relationships.

Her first big move was forming the “Mom Squad” with fellow houseguest Amy Bingham, who was secretly revealed to be the Mastermind’s helper in a season twist. The partnership shows smart thinking, pairing Reilly’s experience with Amy’s quiet gameplay.

Planning to Dominate Competitions

Reilly’s love for the competitive parts of “Big Brother” is as strong as ever, and she’s open about her plans to win challenges. Her excitement focuses on creating memorable moments that could define her third time in the house.

“I am most looking forward to competitions. These are my favorite things about Big Brother. I love the competitions and I’m most looking forward to winning HOH and getting to have some iconic HOH lines, when I win,” she shared. “And kick some people outta the house. I’m really looking forward to that. I’m really looking forward to making great tv.”

The experienced competitor brings great results to Season 27, having won four Head of Household competitions during her winning Season 13 run. Her plan this time involves using her experience while fixing past problems in her gameplay.

“So this time around I have to really focus on my social game, right? Like I am not known for a social game. Shocker to everyone that’s watching,” Reilly admitted. She said that playing without her husband, Brendon Villegas, brings new challenges, but she feels confident she can adapt.

The biggest problem Reilly expects involves managing her naturally bold personality in stressful situations. “But the hardest part for me is gonna be controlling my feistiness because she comes out and she comes out loud,” she explained to Entertainment Tonight.

Going for a Second Win

Reilly’s main goal goes beyond just staying in the game; she wants a rare second “Big Brother” victory that would secure her place in the show’s history. The challenge involves convincing houseguests who have never done reality TV to vote for someone with multiple competition wins.

“I would love to win a second time. I think that that’s my goal. That’s why I’m here, right? Like I came to win $750,000, convincing a group of people that have never been on reality TV to vote for someone that has won multiple reality TV shows, not just one,” she stated.

Her confidence in reaching this big goal shows her belief in her improved game skills. “I’ve won numerous reality TV shows. I think that that in lies the greatest challenge of all. So if I pull this off, then can I finally be labeled a good Big Brother player please,” she added.

The plan Reilly is building with the Mom Squad focuses on letting younger houseguests get distracted by potential romances while she and Amy stay focused on long-term game positioning. This approach uses lessons learned during her previous seasons when romantic relationships in the house created problems.

Early episodes have already shown some houseguests, especially Jimmy, working to target Reilly as a major threat. However, her immediate safety and alliance-building efforts give her the protection needed to handle these early challenges.

Reilly’s return to “Big Brother 27” means more than just another chance at the prize money; it’s an opportunity to prove her growth while embracing the intimidating presence that made her a memorable winner over ten years ago.
