Like the Johnstons, Juuse is a little person, and he quickly became an honorary member of the family. His presence sparked speculation that he might appear on Little People, Big World, especially after he met Zach Roloff at the Little People Convention. However, Anna Johnston later confirmed that Juuse had returned to Finland, putting an end to the rumors.

Juuse, 16, came to the U.S. through a student exchange program, with his mother believing the Johnstons would be the perfect host family. During his three-month stay, he embraced American culture, built strong bonds with the Johnstons, and attended the Little People Convention. Fans loved watching his journey, and in July 2024, he returned to the U.S. to reunite with the family and film new episodes.

After his last social media post in May 2023 about working at Target, Juuse remained out of the spotlight. Recently, he broke his silence with a heartfelt life update, revealing that he moved to Helsinki to care for his grandmother, who is struggling with memory issues, while preparing for a medical entrance exam.
