Matt’s announcement comes after a local family stayed at the house for several months, remodeling it since January. Now, with the fall season approaching, the big house is officially open for bookings through October. Fans have been excited about this opportunity, but some have raised questions about why Matt hasn’t given the house to his son, Zach, especially considering his family dynamics.
In response, Matt explained that Zach is happy in Battleground, and if he were to give the house to him, it would be unfair to his other children who aren’t featured on the show. This comment follows Matt’s earlier revelation that he plans to leave all his property to his ex-wife Amy after he passes, as a way to avoid complications among his children. Matt clarified that this decision was influenced by Karen, who didn’t want to take away from the people who had spent years working on the farm.
With the pumpkin season fast approaching, Matt also teased upcoming festivities, including the annual pumpkin festival, which will begin on October 4. Fans can look forward to experiencing the farm in its full autumn glory.
