MAFS UK’s Georges denies dating Ekin-Su

Here’s a Married At First Sight UK / Love Island crossover you probably didn’t see coming: Georges Berthonneau has been forced to deny he’s dating Ekin-Su Cülcüloğlu after relationship rumours emerged.

In case you need a recap, Georges appeared on the last season of MAFS UK, where he was matched up with Peggie by the experts. While the pair successfully made it through the experiment, and decided to stay together at final vows, they later announced their break up.

Ekin-Su, meanwhile, had one of the most iconic Love Island experiences of all time, meeting Davide Sanclimenti in the villa, going on to win the show in 2022. Sadly, it wasn’t to be, though, and they announced their break up for good in January.

Fast forward 10 months, and MailOnline reported Georges and Ekin had been dating “for some time”, but were trying to keep their relationship under wraps, after they were spotted in the same gym together.

“Ekin’s team were adamant that they didn’t want this to come out, but Georges has been a little loose lipped, and their hooks up have been whispered about for months,” their source said. “Georges had grown tired of being Ekin’s dirty little secret, and he started to tell friends that he wanted more commitment going forward.

“He’s not stopped grinning ear to ear since they have been dating, he’s like the cat that got the cream, and has been gushing to mates about how loved up he is.”

Now though, Georges has spoken out to shut the rumours down, and deny he and Ekin are dating. A representative for the online life coach told The Mirror: “I was surprised by the article myself as Georges is happily dating someone not in the public eye. He and Ekin are just friends who happened to go to the same gym that day.”
