Love Island’s Kady McDermott confirms split and declares she’s “done with” men

Love Island star Kady McDermott has confirmed her split from boyfriend Henry Simmons and has declared she’s “done with” men.

The reality star announced the break-up on her Instagram Stories at the weekend.

When asked by a fan if she was single, Kady replied: “Indeed. If any of you see me with a man again, just know I was held hostage because I am honestly done with them all.

“No matter how good you are to someone, you can’t change their bad morals, unfortunately. Onwards and upwards.”

The couple made their relationship official at the UK premiere of Transformers One in September. They had previously embarked on a romantic trip to Saint-Tropez, with Kady sharing a glimpse of her new man on social media.

Henry also has a background in reality TV, having starred in the TOWIE-style series Absolutely Ascot – which aired on ITVBe in 2018.

Kady first rose to fame after appearing on the 2016 series of Love Island, where she came in third place with Scott Thomas. The pair moved in together after leaving the villa, before separating a year later.

In a surprise twist, Kady returned to the villa as a bombshell during last year’s series. Just hours after she made her entrance, Kady chose to couple up with Zachariah Noble.

His partner Molly Marsh then received a text informing her that she had been dumped from the island with immediate effect.

Kady and Zach’s spark quickly fizzled out when Molly unexpectedly returned during Casa Amor. Kady later recoupled with new bombshell Ouzy See.

However, Kady and Ouzy’s romance outside the villa didn’t last long, with Kady confirming their split shortly after the series concluded.

“Ouzy is one of the loveliest people I have met and I know he is remorseful but unfortunately actions have consequences, and although we are not ‘official’ in our relationship status, I am definitely not prepared to start a relationship off on this foot,” she wrote on her Instagram Stories at the time.
