Love Island’s Gabby Allen reveals shocking body transformation after daily burger indulgence

Love Island star Gabby Allen has detailed how she turned her life around and changed her unhealthy diet and career to become a health pin up.

The 32-year-old reality star has been in the spotlight since 2017 when she took part in season three of ITV’s reality romance show where she paired with Marcel Somerville and ended up fourth. Gabby appears to have been in a reflective mood recently, as she shared astonishing before and after photographs of herself as she celebrated transforming her body into toned perfection.

Sharing snaps on Instagram, she revealed that she felt unhealthy a decade ago after spending years working at a fast food establishment. She wrote: “I worked in a burger restaurant for years, literally eating two burgers a day because it was free and left more money for partying.”

She explained that her condition worsened because she travelled to the USA where she would eat a “tub of Ben and Jerry’s everyday”. When she returned to the UK, however, she decided to focus on her health and get herself fighting fit – and she notes she has remained dedicated to her fitness lifestyle.

She explained that the “turning point” was a decision to become a personal trainer and that this required her to learn all about healthy living as part of her qualification. The star realised that she had to ‘unlearn’ unhealthy habits in order to focus on looking great.

She typed: “I used to go through a cycle of binge eating and starving. I used to obsessively count and allow myself very low calories, then get so hungry I’d binge on SH***. I used to do fad diets like juice plus and then binge again. I used to go out and drink four bottles of wine, eat a Chinese on the way home, then have a fry up the next day and not move a muscle. I was miserable, I lacked structure, motivation, discipline and drive.”

Gabby says she is now happy and confident in herself. She wrote: “Fast forward 7 years I am still a work in progress but I have come a long way. Building strength in my body is the driving force in my life. It makes me feel strong inside and out and I couldn’t do without it.”

In the caption of her lengthy Instagram post, she added that she is available to help others on their own body transformation journeys. She wrote: “I don’t really share things like this but I was so proud of myself the other day when I saw this photo and how far I’ve come and how much my life and my prospects have changed that I thought you may be interested in hearing about my little journey.

“My passion is you. Helping women like you get to where they wanna be too. You still have chance to work personally with me in my Level Up Challenge which starts next week.”
