Former Love Island contestant Dejon Noel-Williams has insisted the stories doing the rounds about him are ‘false, very untrue and unfair,’ in his first TikTok since leaving the villa.

The 26-year-old reality star is allegedly the focus of a new book, Surviving Dejon, penned by his relative Niah Sienna.

Niah, who isn’t blood-related to Dejon but shares a sibling with him, branded the ITV personality as a narcissist whilst he was in the villa.

She has subsequently released a novel described as a “raw, gripping memoir.” Its synopsis partially states: “With unflinching honesty, Niah Sienna recounts a personal journey through darkness, one that left invisible scars,” reports OK!.

The book has reached TikTok virality, and Dejon has turned to the platform to seemingly respond to its claims.

In a video shared on August 9, he told his followers: “I just want to say a big thanks to everybody that supported me so far. It really means the world to me, honestly, especially in times like now.”

Dejon then seems to address Niah’s accusations, stating: “I feel like there’s a lot of false stories out there about me which are very untrue [and] unfair. Apart from that, really big up to all of my supporters. I’m excited and looking forward to showing you guys who I really am.”

Niah was swift to reply to the 26-year-old’s clip.

In a TikTok video posted on August 10, she said: “I just saw his [Dejon’s] response video claiming that everything was fake…that’s very interesting, very interesting. Because wow, to lie about something like this is insane. I actually can’t believe that he’s lied about this.”

Before the social media post, Dejon had already sat down for an interview with the Daily Mail, addressing the narcissism accusations levelled at him by ITV viewers.

He commented: “I do take full accountability for how I communicated at times in the villa.

“The girls who were on the show with me say I’m not a narcissist, I’m not a gaslighter, all of these things they have seen online, it means a lot to me because they spent 24 hours a day with me.

“I could have handled situations better but when it comes to being a ‘narcissist’ and these words, empathy is definitely something that I have, it’s something I had for Meg, for Harry, and when Meg was upset, I was there for her, and when Harry was upset it would break my heart.”
