Love Island filming suspended for star as they’re rushed to medics after nightmare accident
Love Island’s Casey O’Gorman suffered a nasty head injury after briefly passing out during a break in the villa, it has been reported.
The Islander, 28, was forced to pull out of filming for hours ahead of tomorrow night’s final after heading out for a break in front of the villa. Casey, who is coupled up with Gabby Allen on the ITV2 dating show, “bashed his head” after fainting and was checked by medics.
Casey is thankfully now better, but it couldn’t have come at worse timing for Love Island as everything is “manic” getting ready for the final on Monday. A source told The Sun : “All of a sudden Casey felt wobbly and then passed out. He bashed his head on the way down and everyone rushed to attend him.”
They continued to say that Casey came around “quite quickly” and had to wear a bandage and plaster on his head after being checked by medics. The source added: “Everything is manic at the moment getting the content needed working up to Monday’s final so losing such a key cast member as Casey wasn’t ideal to say the least.”

A show source told The Mirror : “Casey is absolutely fine. He was quickly checked over by the team’s dedicated on site medic.” The Mirror has reached out to ITV for comment.
It comes after the finale was thrown into disarray after Scott Thomas, 36, decided to bow out of his anticipated villa comeback. Scott, who made a dramatic exit from the show earlier in the series, was meant to jet back to South Africa for a final reunion with his fellow contestants.

However, eagle-eyed fans noticed his absence in the teaser for the upcoming episode, sparking rumours about his current location. While the ex Islanders from this series poised themselves for a villa return, Scott posted videos of himself enjoying a game of paddell with his pals in a Macclesfield club – miles away from South Africa.
A source said: “Scott didn’t want to go back in after quitting, so he told ITV no to flying back out. He achieved everything he wanted to on the show and didn’t see any point in going back. He just wants to focus on his business now.” This means Scott will be missing from Monday’s grand finale, where returning Islanders get together with the finalists before the champion is announced.
Earlier in the series, the influencer announced his departure from the show, citing difficulties in forming a genuine bond with Tina Stinnes, 29, and India Reynolds, 34, who had previously been evicted. His decision to leave also came on the heels of a heated row with Elma Pazar and Tina, leading him to conclude that the experience “wasn’t for him”. He first shared the news with Luca Bish at the fire pit, confessing, “I just wanted to let you know first. I can’t force connections, and I feel like I’ve come here and done everything I wanted to do. I just have to be true to myself.”
