Love Island’s Samie Elishi has broken her silence on her “feud” with Grace Jackson following being brutally dumped from the villa.

Following a shock recoupling on Friday night, Samie, 24, was left single and therefore axed from the show. The Islander was getting to know Luca Bish following a connection on the outside world but he decided to stick with his couple, Grace.

While she was still in the villa, Samie made Luca’s head turn immediately – much to Grace’s dismay – but he ultimately decided to stay in his couple. However, Luca had a chat with the rest of the boys as he tried his best to explain his situation.

During the chat about the love triangle, Luca compared both Samie and Grace to football tournaments as he debated on which one to choose.

Following Luca’s football comparison, Samie has now hit back. The brunette beauty has taken to TikTok to post an iconic video of her walking into the villa with the caption: “The World Cup.” Naturally, Love Island fans were quick to comment on Samie’s TikTok post as one gushed: “World Cup all day everyyyyyy day. In every Universe, like come’on.”

Another echoed: “EXACTLY BABYY!!! YOU ARE QUEEN KEEP YOUR HEAD HIGH.” Someone else quipped: “It baffles me how Luca has two stunning and smart women fighting over him. He’s so boring.”

Samie made her exit on Friday night alongside Danielle Sellers. She was left single when Luca decided to stick with her love rival Grace Jackson instead in the dramatic recoupling.

Speaking on the Love Island: The Morning After podcast, Samie couldn’t resist making a dig at her former flame, but insisted she won’t cry over the ex-fishmonger from Brighton. Asked what her favourite Love Island moment was, Samie brutally replied: “Probably pie-ing Luca.” This is in reference to an actual pie in the face moment during the Snog, Marry, Pie challenge.

But Samie also revealed how she had a secret conversation to clear the air with Grace after the pair found themselves in a love triangle with Luca – but it never aired on TV. She shared: “So I had a conversation with Grace and we were fine. But obviously it was just uncomfortable the whole time.”

During the chat, Samie was asked about the friendships she had made on the show and said she was close with “all the girls to be fair,” before adding: “But the only person I didn’t really gel with one to one was Grace. For obvious reasons.”

Samie also admitted that she wasn’t interested in getting to know any of the other boys aside from Luca – which turned out to be her downfall in the end – as she declared: “There were slim pickings!”

The Luca love triangle initially gave the impression that the two ladies didn’t get along, but viewers have since developed a new theory. During the period leading up to the start of All Stars, Grace’s Love Island ex-boyfriend Joey Essex had been like a lot of Samie’s posts, leading fans to believe this could be the reason Grace is not a fan of her. Eagle-eyed fans discovered the interest started around late October/early November.
