Love Is Blind’sSeason 7 reunion had a lot of drama, and some graduates of the show were there to weigh in, like the three-time engaged Marshall Glaze from Season 4 and AD Smith from Season 6. AD was famously turned down at the altar by Clay Gravesande, causing fans to petition The Bachelorette to cast her next.
During the reunion, AD revealed that she was seeing a mystery guy. But internet sleuths are convinced it’s the red flag, Ollie Sutherland from the palate cleanser, Love Is Blind UK. Here’s a closer look at AD’s reality TV dating history.

In a TikTok clip (see below) posted in October, AD and Ollie were spotted together in public, seemingly out on a date. Fans suspected that the two probably met while filming Perfect Match 3. “Omg this is after filming perfect match 😭😭😭😭😭,” one wrote. But what worries fans the most is that Ollie was such a red flag in LIB UK.
Ollie drew flak for saying he wasn’t into PDA with his then-fiancée, Demi Santana Brown, but was instantly attracted to Sharlotte Ritchie when he met her outside the pods. Demi said no to Ollie at the altar, saying: “I know what I want from a husband and I don’t think we’re quite there, obviously.”
Fans commended Demi for her decision. And while she said that the “no” wasn’t the end of her relationship with Ollie, it didn’t go on after the show. During the reunion, Ollie and Sharlotte revealed that they were *kinda* dating. “Ollie’s not my guy. He’s a good guy. Is he your guy, Sharlotte?” Demi asked at that time.
Sharlotte answered: “Genuinely, I don’t think I could’ve gotten through the last few weeks having to watch what I watched without having [Ollie] as the perfect support. So I’ve got a lot of gratitude for him and it remains complicated. But yeah, we’re in a good spot.”
Ollie clarified that they “didn’t jump from the show to each other,” but that the chemistry between him and Charlotte was just hard to ignore, basically. They didn’t label their connection at that time, but Ollie said: “Watch this space. That’s what I’m saying.”
There have been posts about the rumored cast of Perfect Match Season 3, which supposedly includes Ollie and AD. The show hasn’t made any official announcements as of this writing. But based on AD and Marshall’s random appearance at the Season 7 reunion, we think it could have been a subtle promotion of the show.

During the reunion, AD didn’t mince words in calling out Clay. “You had your chance, there’s nothing that I wouldn’t have given you, there’s nothing I wouldn’t have done for you,” she said to him. “And low key, respectfully, you played in my f—ing face… because you knew that you didn’t want to get married.”
Clay, on the other hand, was grateful for the humbling experience. “I had to confront my own fears and wounds head-on,” he wrote on Instagram. “It was terrifying but it was also the beginning of a profound journey of self-discovery and accountability.” Showrunner, Chris Coelen also expressed his “admiration” for Clay, saying he made “the right choice for himself” and “the right long-term choice for them as a couple.”
But for many fans, AD was just one of the several Black women who got “done dirty” on the show. Clay was also slammed for obviously preferring light-skinned women, therefore treating AD without respect. Even his mom, Margarita Gravesande isn’t a fan of his dating patterns.
Clay’s mom and dad had a conversation about their divorce affecting their son’s decision at the altar. Clay’s father, Trevor was unfaithful to Margarita. He used to take Clay on trips where he cheated.
Margarita didn’t even know that Clay had already moved on with OnlyFans model, Celina Powell, right after the show. On her Instagram story, she said she “didn’t know who CP was until everyone started sending me her YouTube information.”

“He’s very disciplined… he’s extremely to the clock, every minute is planned out whereas I’m kinda with the wind a little bit, and he just wants different things and so do I, and we just left it right there.”
When Clay was asked about AD and Matthew’s fling, he said “it’s an experiment and Matt did it the way he did it.” He also had “nothing disrespectful to say” since Matthew wasn’t there to speak for himself. Back in the pods, AD turned down Matthew after he had told her and Amber Grant the same personal thing.
“I had shared something so intimate with my father passing… So when [Amber] comes in and has the same story, as far as the dad thing, that’s what really rocked me because I was like, my story is obsolete then,” AD recalled. But as a forgiving person, she gave Matthew another chance after he apologized for what happened in the pods. Bless her heart for that. Let’s hope Ollie doesn’t pull a Clay on AD, if they’re really dating.
