Where their disconnect came was when Devin was off-put by Virginia’s desire for a prenup. While he did sign it confidently, he was obviously soured. She claimed that peace was something that meant a lot to her, and she didn’t have that with Devin. But her most shocking revelation came next. She said she found out from Devin’s mom that he had received a check as a wedding present, and did not let Virginia know about it.

“I was just waiting to see if he would bring it up, but he didn’t. It made me not so trusting of him. I don’t regret my decision.”
