I’m Sorry, But Vince Panaro Just Sabotaged His Own Game With This Big Brother 27 Nomination
I think Vince Panaro made a huge mistake nominating a particular person for eviction on Big Brother season 27. In fact, I think he’s made multiple mistakes already, and the first week isn’t even over. Big Brother season 27 is sure to be a messy one if things continue on this path.
Every Head Of Household this season will be put in a uniquely difficult position. That’s because Big Brother has brought back a fan-favorite twist, formerly known as the AI Arena. This season, it’s called the BB Blockbuster. Instead of nominating two Big Brother season 27 cast members for eviction, every HOH must nominate three.
Vince had a tough decision to make, especially since four houseguests were already safe from eviction. Unfortunately, I think he made the wrong call nominating Ashley Hollis. It’s only a matter of time before the other houseguests come after him.
Vince Put A Target On His Back
People Will Think He’s A Comp Beast
Winning the first HOH is always a double-edged sword. On the one hand, safety early on in the game is important. Plus, being the first HOH gives the powerful houseguest the opportunity to make whatever alliances they want.
On the other hand, being the first HOH can make a lot of people angry.
Whichever nominees come off the block or otherwise save themselves from eviction could seek revenge on the HOH. On top of that, the rest of the house could be nervous about leaving a competition winner in the game. Vince may have made himself a target by winning the first HOH competition.
Vince Broke His Promise
He Can’t Be Trusted
Vince had promised safety to the other three people who competed with him in the first HOH competition of Big Brother season 27. Therefore, Ashley was supposed to be safe. Vince made this promise not just in front of Ashley, but also in front of Jimmy Heagerty.
Now that Vince has nominated Ashley, multiple people in the house know that he’s willing and able to break a promise. I think Vince made a mistake by showing how untrustworthy he can be this early on in the game. Vince has made himself an easy target next week when he can’t play in the HOH competition.
Ashley Has Two Chances To Save Herself
She’ll Want Revenge If She Stays
Not only is Ashley upset with Vince for breaking his promise and nominating her, she has ample opportunities to save herself from eviction. Not only could Ashley win the veto competition, she now has the live BB Blockbuster competition on eviction night to ensure her safety. Vince made an enemy, and that was likely a mistake.
If she does manage to survive the block this week, I think Big Brother‘s Ashley Hollis will want to go after Vince in the coming weeks. Vince has made a potentially powerful enemy. I think he should have stuck to his word and kept Ashley off the block, at least initially.
