Here’s Which Love Island UK Couples Are Still Together…
For more than a decade, viewers across the world have dedicated one hour every summer night to watching extremely hot people lounge in the sun and fall in love with each other without access to the outside world. We’re talking, of course, about Love Island U.K. Year after year, the Love Island U.K. drama builds, the love triangles expand, and the bombshells get bolder; however, the hope that love can prevail never wanes.
The hit reality dating series premiered in 2005 on ITV in the U.K. before expanding internationally and, eventually, developing more than 20 spin-offs. The series follows a handful of men and women dating and living in a villa in Mallorca (among other tropical locations), resulting in engagements, marriages, “pies,” “snogging,” and babies for the couples who last in the real world.
After eight weeks of watching islanders live through the ups and downs of romantic relationships, it’s safe to say that viewers have become invested in the past decade of Love Island U.K. As another season comes to an, we’ve chronicled who’s still together from Love Island U.K. over the years, including its spin-off Love Island: All-Stars, and what’s happened to viewers’ fan-favorite couples since filming ended.
Which Love Island UK couples are still together (and which winners have split)?
Jessica Hayes and Max Morley (Season 1)
Status: Broken up.
Jessica Hayes and Max Morley won Love Island UK‘s debut season of the revamped version, but their relationship sadly didn’t last—they broke up just six weeks after leaving the villa. Later, they would reveal the reasons for their split.
“When you’re on Love Island, you’re in that bubble and you think you’re right for each other, and then you come out and realize you’re not,” Jess told The Sun at the time. “The schedules are just crazy and it doesn’t work because of the distance.” She continued, “Max’s management at the time was very pushy, and they wanted him to act single. And then I remember he had that little relationship with Charlotte Crosby.”
Nathan Massey and Cara De La Hoyde (Season 2)
Status: Still together.
Nathan and Cara coupled up on day one of Love Island U.K. Season 2 and went on to win the whole season after never coupling up with anyone else. They got engaged in 2018 after a return to the Love Island U.K. villa, where Nathan surprised Cara with a treasure hunt and a proposal. “I brought her back to where we met and took her on a little treasure hunt around the villa to different places, which meant something to us,” Nathan told OK! in a past interview. “Finally, I blindfolded her, led her to the pool, and got down on one knee.”
They got married in June 2019 and went on to have two kids: son Freddie-George, who was born in 2017, and daughter Delilah, who was born in 2020.
Alex Bowen and Olivia Buckland (Season 2)
Status: Still together.
Alex and Olivia are the first Love Island U.K. couple to tie the knot. Olivia, an original islander on Love Island U.K. Season 2, had a tumultuous journey in the villa, with her searching high and low for her mate until Alex entered the villa on day 18. The duo coupled up on day 20 and stayed together until the Season 2 finale, where they were announced as the runners-up.
Four months after leaving the villa, Alex bought an engagement ring and the two got married in September 2017 in Essex. The duo married in September 2017 in Essex after Bowen bought the engagement ring four months after they left the villa.
“I looked in this shop window and saw a ring similar to the one that she wanted, and I literally just said to my best friend, ‘I’m going to Venice next year. I’m going to pop the question,’ and he was like, ‘You go to New York in three months, just do it then.’ So, I did!” Alex shared in a past interview on the White Wine Question Time podcast. The couple welcomed their first child, a son named Abel Jacob, in June 2022.
Kem Cetinay and Amber Davies (Season 3)
Status: Broken up.
Amber and Kem were the winners of season 3, but they broke up around 6 months after leaving the villa. “With sadness, we’ve decided to separate. Our schedules made it difficult. We’ll remain good friends,” they said in a statement shared in 2018.
“They’ve been at each other’s necks for the past month,” a source close to the couple told The Sun at the time. “They’ve clashed over the smallest things. It’s also been very hard for them to see each other with their hectic schedules.”
Status: Still together.
In Love Island U.K. Season 3, fans watched Camilla, an original islander, kiss frog after frog until Jamie entered the villa on day 32 and thus began one of the best love stories in Love Island history. The duo coupled up on day 34 and finished as the runners-up of Season 3. They officially married in September 2021 and went on to welcome three children: daughter Nell Sophia, born in 2020; daughter Nora Belle, born in 2022; and son Brodie, born in 2024.
Dom Lever and Jess Shears (Season 3)
Status: Still together.
Dom and Jess’ short romance on Love Island U.K. Season 3 wasn’t indicative of their love story to come. The couple, who were both original islanders, were victims of Love Island U.K.’s surprise dumpings, which resulted in Jess’ unexpected elimination on day 17 while still coupled up with Dom.
Dom decided to stay on Love Island U.K. and not leave the villa. He was later eliminated on day 28. Once on the outside, Dom and Jess immediately reconnected and got back together. The couple wed in Mykonos in October 2018 before welcoming two sons, born in 2020 and 2022.
Jack Fincham and Dani Dyer (Season 4)
Status: Broken up.
Jack Fincham and Dani Dyer were the winners of Love Island UK season 4. They did try to make it work but after six months, everything fell apart. As of July 2024, Dani is engaged to soccer player Jarrod Bowen, while Jack is dating TOWIE star Chloe Brockett.
Tommy Fury and Molly-Mae Hague (Season 5)
Status: Broken up.
Tommy and Molly-Mae are perhaps one of Love Island U.K.‘s most popular success stories—until they weren’t. Tommy, an original islander, and Molly-Mae met when Molly-Mae entered the villa on day 4 as a bombshell, stealing Tommy’s attention from his previous partner, Lucie Donlan. After a brief love triangle with fellow islander Maura Higgins, the couple made their relationship official with a teddy bear and a love note from Tommy asking Molly-Mae to be his girlfriend at the end of the season.
The couple finished Love Island U.K. Season 5 in second place before starting their lives in the real world together in Manchester, England. The pair purchased their first home together in March 2022 before welcoming their first child, a daughter named Bambi, in January 2023 and getting engaged in July 2023.
Hague opened up about their wedding plans in a video on her YouTube channel 2024. “We’re currently in the talks of looking for a church to get married at, because we definitely do want to get married in the UK in a traditional Catholic Church,” she said.
Then, in August 2024, Molly-Mae broke off their engagement amid rumors Tommy was cheating on her. “This is real life and it’s very sad and it’s very deep and it just doesn’t feel right for me to come on here and talk about it,” she said. “I think it’s important to deal with it privately, also out of respect to Tommy as well because it’s just not nice. I feel like everything over the last couple of weeks has really been a lot.”
Amber Gill and Greg O’Shea (Season 5)
Status: Broken up.
Amber and Gregg, winners of Love Island UK season 5, split up just weeks after leaving the villa and he faced serious backlash for how he did it: via text and the screenshots went viral. But Greg said there was more to the story.
“People kind of got the wrong story. They just saw, ‘Greg breaks up with Amber over text,’” he told GossChats in 2020. “There was so much more to it. We were in person, we were FaceTiming, there was phone calls, back and forth, and then just one thing comes out.”
Paige Turley and Finn Tapp (Season 6)
Status: Broken up.
Paige and Finn, winners of season 6 of Love Island UK, called it quits in April 2023. “Paige and Finn had a really good run, but they are still super young and decided it wasn’t forever in the end,” a source told The Sun at the time.
“We’re still really good friends… I think we drifted apart. We did lockdown together and any and every struggle we could have faced, we were faced with,” she said during Love Island: After Sun. As yet, Finn hasn’t commented on their split.
Status: Still together.
Millie and Liam can’t seem to stay away from each other since leaving the villa. Liam entered the villa as a bombshell on day four before Millie followed him on day 9. They coupled up on day 14 and stayed together until the Love Island U.K. Season 7 finale, where they were announced as the winners. Weeks before their win, however, Casa Amor reared its ugly head, as expected, and caused episodes’ worth of drama for Millie and Liam after Liam spent his time in Casa Amor getting familiar with other bombshells before returning to the main villa alone. Though he and Millie recoupled at the first recoupling following Casa Amor, his secret shenanigans were exposed and later forgiven after a heartfelt apology.
The couple continued their relationship outside the villa for several before announcing their split on Instagram with a joint post in July 2022.”To avoid any speculation, Liam and I wanted to share with you that we have separated,” Millie said. It’s been a tough decision, and I am gutted, but it’s ultimately what is best for us right now,” they said at the time.
The pair rekindled their relationship in August 2023, subtly posting each other to socials again. In an interview with Heatworld in July 2024, Millie spoke about their time apart and how it bettered their relationship. “Coming out of Love Island was a massive life change,” Millie said. “I think getting to grips with that new life, on our own, helped us be able to find ourselves in this new life and new career. When we came back together, we’d got to grips with things and could focus on each other more this time around.”
Indiyah Polack and Dami Hope (Season 8)
Status: Still together.
The Season 8 recoupling after Casa Amor couldn’t have prepared us for this relationship. Both Dami and Indiyah, who were original islanders who first coupled up on day 18, recoupled with other bombshells, which led to one of the most tense recouplings in the franchise’s history. Dami recoupled with Summer, while Indiyah recoupled with Deji. Luckily, the couple found their way back to each other and recoupled on day 38. They stayed together until the Love Island U.K. Season 8 finale, where they finished in third place.
Dami and Indiyah now share a flat in London and often chronicle their relationship on TikTok and Instagram. The couple celebrated their second anniversary in July 2024 in Mallorca with a joint Instagram post captioned: “The heartbreakers won” — a call back to the Casa Amor recoupling that almost ended their relationship.
Andrew Le Page and Tasha Ghouri (Season 8)
Status: Still together.
Casa Amor couldn’t keep these two apart despite Andrew’s infamous lick with bombshell Coco Lodge. Amidst doubts from viewers and fellow islanders alike, Tasha and Andrew, who were both original islanders and coupled up on day one, survived the series’ ultimate test, leaving the villa in fourth place as boyfriend and girlfriend. Post-Love Island U.K., the couple are still going strong and share snippets of their life on Tasha podcast, Superpowers with Tasha. In February 2024, the couple shared news of their new home and the upcoming remodeling they plan to embark on together with the help of their adopted dog, Luna.
Ekin-Su Cülcüloglu and Davide Sanclimenti (Season 8)
Status: Broken up
In January 2024, the winners of Love Island UK season 8, Ekin-Su and Davide, announced they’d broken up. “The last 18 months have been a rollercoaster of ups and downs, just like every relationship,” she wrote on Instagram. “Davide and I both wanted to make this relationship work as we cared deeply for each other.”
She continued, “Unfortunately, I have recently made the decision to end our relationship and to go our separate ways. Breakups are never easy for any couple, and we hope that our privacy will be respected at this time.”
Davide then posted his statement in response: “Life sometimes reserves surprises and suddenly wakes you up. Ekin and I, just after the ski holidays, decided to go different ways. It was a joint decision but I was waiting to make it public to respect her time in the show [The Traitors]. I don’t know why the agreed statement changed last minute,” he wrote.
Kai Fagan and Sanam Harrinanan (Season 9)
Status: Still together.
Kai and Sanam were the winners of Love Island U.K. season 9 and the first couple formed in Casa Amor to win. (Kai was an original islander, while Sanam entered as a Casa Amor bombshell on day 29.) The pair continued to date after the winter season of Love Island U.K. and went on to meet each other’s family, move in together in London, and get engaged in April 2024.
Fagan shared the happy news on Instagram. “Introducing the next Mrs Fagan ❤️💍,” he wrote, sharing proposal pics. “Beautiful, Caring, Loving and Smart are just some of the words that describe you. I love loving you, I love you and I can’t wait to spend the rest of my life with you ❤️.”
Will Young and Jessie Wynter (Season 9)
Status: Still together.
When bombshell Jessie entered the villa on day seven and stole original islander farmer Will’s heart on Love Island U.K. Season 9, an audible “aww” was heard from viewers around the world. While this sweet love story didn’t make it to the finale (Jessie and Will were eliminated on day 56), the duo made their relationship work outside the villa. The pair’s Love Island journey wasn’t easy, with many ups and downs. However, when the couple left the villa, both confessed their love for each other before Jessie asked Will to be her boyfriend.
According to their social media, the couple is going strong. Since leaving the villa, they’ve share social media posts of their vacations and Jessie’s visits to Will’s farm.
Whitney Adebayo and Lochan Nowacki (Season 10)
Status: Still together.
While Whitney and Lochan finished second placed behind Jess and Sammy on Season 10 of Love Island U.K., they may as well have been voted as the U.K.’s favorite couple based on how far they’ve come sice leaving the villa. Whitney, who entered on day 3, and Lochan, who entered on day 26, coupled up following Casa Amor on day 31 days after Whitney’s previous partner, Mehdi, was voted out of the villa. After leaving Love Island U.K., the couple made it official as boyfriend and girlfriend, with Lochan posting a TikTok video in 2023 sharing the news. “Cheers to our second week out of the villa,” Lochan said to Whitney in the video. “Your favourite dinner made by the one and only. And to you being my girlfriend. Hashtag winning!”
As of writing, the couple is still together and frequently appears on each other’s social media, including Lochan’s YouTube cooking show, “Loch’d in the Kitchen.”
Molly Marsh and Zachariah Noble (Season 10)
Status: Still together.
Molly and Zach are no strangers to relationship woes. The fourth-place finalists of Love Island U.K. Season 10 have experienced their fair share of challenges inside and outside of the villa. The duo faced a rocky villa romance when Molly, an original islander, was dumped from the island on day 19 after bombshell Kady McDermott coupled up with Zach, another original islander. However, when Molly re-entered the villa through Casa Amor on day 27, the couple quickly got back together business as usual.
After Love Island U.K. Season 10, the pair briefly broke up, sharing an official announcement on Instagram in March 2024. They were spotted together again a few months later in May 2024. Since then, the couple has been going strong and appeared on an episode of 2024’s Love Island After Sun.
Sammy Root and Jess Harding (Season 10)
Status: Broken up.
While declared the winners of Love Island UK in season 10, Sammy and Jess split up just two months after winning the prize money, as their “relationship changed since leaving the villa,” he told Daily Mail. “I think what a lot of people don’t understand is that you are going from a sheltered villa with around 10 people in it, to the whole world in your ear. You receive messages, people talk about you, people make up things and get involved.”
Josh Ritchie and Sophie Piper (Love Island: All-Stars)
Status: Still together.
Josh and Sophie coupled up in the first week of the first season of Love Island: All-Stars, a spin-off of Love Island U.K. (Josh entered on day 4, while Sophie entered on day 10.)
Josh and Sophie, originally from Seasons 1 and Six, respectively, placed third behind Jess Gale and Callum Jones, as well as Molly Smith and Tom Clare. Following their season, the couple continued their relationship outside the villa. The couple shared their official relationship status with an Instagram Story in 2024 showing a hotel room covered in rose petals with “Will you be my GF?” spelled out. The pair’s Instagram accounts also feature plenty of loved-up vacation pictures of the couple.
“[We’re] really good, really good. Yeah, we’re just in a bit of a love bubble at the moment. It’s nice being on the outside world and obviously getting to do normal life with each other,” Sophie told The Mirror in 2024.
Molly Smith and Tom Clare (Love Island: All-Stars)
Status: Still together.
Molly, the bombshell of all bombshells, entered the Love Island: All-Stars villa on day 37 recovering from a broken heart following her split from her Season 6 ex, Callum Jones. She coupled up with Tom, who entered on day 10, and the two went on to win Love Island: All Stars together. Molly originally appeared on Season 6, while Tom starred on Season 9.
Throughout their second time in the villa, the couple survived a dramatic season full of temptation and tears as Molly worked through the will-they-won’t-they problem with her Callum. The couple ultimately survived and won the first season of Love Island: All-Stars. As of writing, the couple is still together, and Tom is in the process of moving from London to Manchester to move in with Molly.
Wil Anderson and Uma Jammeh (Season 11)
Status: Still together.
Talk about a slow burn. Uma and Wil exited the Love Island U.K. villa hand in hand after a public vote left Wil vulnerable and ultimately dumped from the island. In a dramatic turn of events, in a fit of tears, Uma, who entered on day 3, decided to leave the villa with Wil, who entered on day 12. Since leaving the villa on day 37, the duo have shared plenty of photos with each other on their Instagram accounts. Uma also explained their inside “blueberries” joke from inside the villa.
“When we first had the night away, in the other villa, where Wil chose me,” Uma told HeatWorld. “He was saying his mum always has blueberries in the fridge, and how he loves to eat blueberries.”
“And then I said, ‘Oh my God, your eyes look like blueberries.’ And then we just started eating blueberries together and playing games—chucking them up and throwing them. It was a proper big thing, which is why I call him my blueberry.”
Status: Still together.
Ronnie and Harriet kept the villa alive with their nonstop drama before their early exit on day 26. (Both were original islanders.) The couple, who went through a series of ups and downs due to Ronnie’s frequent recoupling, were dumped from the villa after a public vote. Much to everyone’s surprise, the duo are still together! The pair celebrated Ronnie’s 28th birthday together in London soon after leaving the villa in 2024. Harriett shared an image of the pair to her story with the message, “Happy Birthday my Ronnie, so happy I found you.”
Jessy Potts and Joey Essex (Season 11)
Status: Still together.
Joey, the surprise bombshell of Love Island U.K. Season 11 and a former cast member of The Only Way Is Essex, was dumped from the villa just before the finals with his partner, Jessy. (Joey was an original islander, while Jessy entered on day 23. They coupled up on day 31.) The exclusive duo left the island on day 55 after their fellow islanders from dumpings past re-entered the villa and voted for the least compatible couple.
In their final interview on Love Island U.K. Season 11, Jessy reflected on her time with Joey. “Joey is the most kindhearted person, and whether or not that translates because he often gets himself into trouble, he is very caring, kind, and thoughtful,” Jessy said. “I could see past the persona, and I like him for who he is, which is all that matters to me.”
Nicole Samuel and Ciaran Davies (Season 11)
Status: Still together.
Nicole and Ciaran are the blueprints for Love Island relationships. The pair, who were both original islanders, coupled on day one with mutual attraction and withstood the constant flow of tests expected in the Love Island villa. Nicole and Ciaran made their relationship exclusive early on and become boyfriend and girlfriend before Casa Amor was underway, confessing their love prior the finale. Despite Nicole’s trust issues, the pair made it to the final four and, ultimately, came in second place in Season 11.
When looking to the future after Love Island, Nicole said in the finale, “We are going to take my dog Bonnie for a walk; he needs to pass the Bonnie test.” Ciaran added, “One of the main things I want to do is go to a really nice restaurant and have a nice steak dinner. I’m looking forward to a holiday as well. We did say Croatia for that. I don’t know why, but I’ve been told it’s really nice.”
Jessica Spencer and Ayo Odukayo (Season 11)
Status: Still together.
Love Island U.K. Season 11’s fourth-place finishers, Jess and Ayo, are still going strong. Paired initially with Mimii, Ayo, who was an original islander, sparked a connection once Jess entered as a Casa Amor bombshell on day 29. Ayo returned to the villa with Jess, leaving Mimii single.
Jess and Ayo worked through exes and love triangles to build a relationship based on healthy communication and trust. Following their dumping, the couple shared their excitement about continuing to get to know each other outside and spending more time with their families.
Sean Stone and Matilda Draper (Season 11)
Status: Still together.
The candy man and his sweetheart are still adorably loved up after the Love Island U.K. Season 11 finale. Sean, an original islander, and Matilda, who entered the villa on day 17, coupled up on day 22 after Sean spent weeks searching for someone to return his affection. The pair were quickly smitten once the bombshell arrived in the villa and fell for Stone’s sweet moves.
Although Sean kissed a few bombshells in Casa Amor, the couple reconciled after Sean’s apologies and a few intense conversations back in the villa. Sean confessed his love for Matilda in the Love Island U.K. Season 11 finale, and the pair appeared inseparable. Once filming ended, the couple, who came in third place, vowed to try to make their relationship work outside of the villa and promised to trek the hour-long journey from Sean’s hometown of Hertford to Matilda’s hometown of Beckenham.
Mimii Ngulube and Josh Oyinsan (Season 11)
Status: Still together.
The Love Island U.K. Season 11 winners are still together after making history as the first Black couple in Love Island U.K.’s history to win. Mimii, an original islander, and Josh, a bombshell who entered on day 36, coupled up after Casa Amor, when Mimii’s previous partner, Ayo, recoupled with bombshell Jess and left Mimii single. Fighting against the formation of a love triangle, Mimii and Josh worked to build their connection, ultimately becoming exclusive before the Season 11 finale.
The couple is still together following their win, and based on their final speeches, they plan to make the relationship go the distance. “When I’m watching you fall asleep on my chest, it feels like nothing else matters in the world, and I’m at total peace,” Josh told Mimii before reading a self-written heartfelt poem in the finale.
