Celebrity Big Brother’s Chris Hughes and JoJo Siwa scolded by producers over ‘gross’ behaviour
Celebrity Big Brother’s Chris Hughes and JoJo Siwa have become a talking point with their close-knit connection this season, and things heat up in tonight’s episode as they push the envelope even further.
Earlier in the week, the duo ruffled feathers when they broke a significant rule of the house. The incident saw JoJo write a ‘secret message’ on Chris’ hand, leading to a communal punishment: speaking via megaphones. But in tonight’s challenge, it looks like Chris and JoJo are out to prove their dedication, toeing the line by adopting an unusual item for personal use – Big Brother’s litter tray.
In a twist for today’s task, Big Brother gathers the contestants into the living room, declaring, “This is Big Brother. For today’s task, you will all become my pet house cats.”
The stakes are set high: the housemates start with nine lives and face cat-like trials throughout the day, where any failure snatches a life away. To triumph and snag the prize, they must preserve at least one remaining life, reports the Mirror.
The role-playing gets immersive as they’re told, “All food and drink must be consumed from the cat bowls provided. So prowl with pride, stretch your paws and if in doubt, lick yourself.”
Chris and JoJo dive headfirst into character as they commence using the litter tray, prompting a swift reminder from Big Brother: “This is Big Brother. House cats are reminded that they can use the human toilets.”
Last night’s episode saw the pair getting cosier than ever, snuggling up in bed together. Earlier, Chris said she’d be “temporarily moving in” with him post-show.
But not all moments were well-received by viewers. To kill time during nominations, the housemates engaged in a memory game, opting for ‘I went to the market’ and building a lengthy grocery list. JoJo wowed everyone, especially Chris, with her ability to remember a long string of items, prompting him to comment: “That was impressive, a big turn on that.”
Fans didn’t hesitate to voice their opinions on social media about Chris’ remark, with one posting: “Did Chris just say Jojo remembering the list in the game they’re playing is a big turn on?” Another chimed in: “Chris is being too much now.”
In tonight’s show, Will and AJ will be talking to the house as Patsy Palmer and Daley Thompson await the public’s decision.
