‘Big Brother 27’s Zae Frederich opens up about his sexuality
Big Brother 27 star Zae Frederich has answered questions about his sexuality after being eliminated from the competition in its very first week.

Following his early Big Brother eviction, Zae — full name, Isaiah Frederich — held an Instagram Q&A session with fans of the show who had been curious to learn more about him.
“What’s up guys? As y’all know, on Thursday night, I was sadly evicted from the Big Brother house,” Zae So I’m back — I’m in Kentucky right now visiting my family, but I wanted to open this up for questions and let y’all ask something about me or about my experience on Big Brother, and I’m gonna try and get as many as I can… So let them rip.”
One of the questions that jumped right in Zae’s direction pertained to his sexuality — a big topic of discussion among fans who watched him in the Big Brother 27 live feeds and/or caught up with week 1 of the show.
When asked “Are you bisexual?” by Big Brother fans, Zae shared this answer.

Zae started answering the question “Are you bisexual?” (shown above him) by saying that this was “probably one of the most common things that I’ve seen circulating about me on social media; It’s about my sexual orientation.”
And, yes, a quick peek at X/Twitter made it clear that the gays were eager to ask the Big Brother 27 star about that.
Zae answered, “I am straight. I know I like to wear short shorts and my hair is dyed, so a lot of people, like, because of that, think that I am bisexual or gay.”
“But I am not,” Zae added. “I am straight. I like girls.”
This first week of Big Brother 27 introduced Zae as a 23-year-old salesperson from Paducah, Kentucky who was currently living in Provo, Utah. During the rest of his time spent in the house, Zae surprised viewers with his Spanish-speaking skills and by discussing his previous ties to the Mormon Church — though he underscored that he was no longer a part of it.

Otherwise, Zae also addressed being caught allegedly using “the r-word” — as noted by Mike Bloom in a Parade interview with the Big Brother star — when asked about it after his eviction from the show.
“Obviously, I apologize,” Zae told the publication. “It was not my intention to offend anybody. I know those were offensive and words that nobody should say. I tried to correct myself as soon as I could and move on from it. And hopefully people don’t look at me as less or a bad person because of the things that I said. But I do apologize to anyone affected or offended.”
