Big Brother 27 Live Feeds: Lauren’s Decision Becomes Important
All week, Lauren has agonized over nominations. She knew she wanted to play it safe by nominating Keanu and Kelley. However, the third nominee caused Lauren some stress. Her initial instincts told her to nominate Will as an easy paw nominee. He also doesn’t talk game with her in Big Brother 27. They are in the Bonds alliance together, but anything has barely been built yet (or potentially ever) with that group. Therefore, Lauren eventually settled on a Will, Keanu, and Kelley nominations.
Basically, the Big Brother 27 house is divided into two sides, but with alliances that include members from each side. Vince and Rachel (Mickey/Morgan) are basically the leaders and spokespeople for their sides. Vince’s side mainly includes the men and Kelley, and Rachel’s side basically includes the women and Jimmy. There are a few key middle players like Ava and Will. Katherine and Lauren are also more middle but leaning more towards the men’s side at times, but this week, Lauren has been making decisions that keep her in the middle. Keanu is also not really on any side nor in the middle, but he thinks he’s with the Vince, Zach side of things.
Lauren could have had an easy week if Keanu hadn’t won the Power of Veto Competition. This means that Lauren needs to find a replacement nominee. She could barely name the initial nominees, so having to pick another nominee stresses her out. On Sunday, Lauren still hadn’t vocalized her decision to anyone. This meant that this morning she still needed to tell people whom she planned to nominate.
This morning, there were many conversations to push for Adrian or Ashley to go up as Keanu’s replacement. The Vince side wanted Ashley up, and the Rachel side wanted Adrian up. Keanu even pitched an idea that Lauren let him get the blood for this decision.
He would say he was nominated, and as part of his agreement to go on the block, Ashley had to be the replacement nominee. This was his mastermind plot and decision. Lauren did not like this because she already knew she was being perceived as a player unable to make choices. Rachel even warned her not to let the men control her Head of Household.
Though Lauren expressed confusion, it seemed like she was leaning towards nominating Adrian. Keanu’s suggestion just pushed her more towards that idea. Lauren had conversations with Adrian and Ashley this morning, but didn’t confirm with either her plan. Her conversation with Ashley seemed more like she was thinking about not nominating her. They even made a deal where Ashley agreed not to nominate Lauren until the jury.
In her conversation with Adrian, Lauren didn’t say as much and just listened to his pitch. After Adrian left, she told Mickey she was leaning towards nominating him. Lauren seemed set on the Adrian nomination, but Vince and Zach were the last two to speak to her before the Live Feeds went down. They were pushing for Ashley to go on the block.
This week has seemingly become critical because it gives one side more control than the other, and it may force Lauren to pick a side. We’ll see how it all goes after the Veto Ceremony.
