“Angel Reese could never be this supportive”: TikTok reacts as Caitlin Clark continues to back bf Connor McCaffrey at Butler games
Caitlin Clark drew many reactions after attending Butler Bulldogs games. Her boyfriend Connor McCaffery, who spent time with the Indiana Pacers, became an assistant coach for the program, and his tenure with the team is off to a good start.
Clark has seen several games live, and the most recent duel against Northwestern made the rounds on social media. Not only was Caitlin present, but her father, mother, and brothers were also in attendance.
Her presence turned a lot of heads and after CBS Sports’ official TikTok account shared a video of the Indiana Fever player enjoying the game, plenty of fans reacted. Some compared Clark to other female players, including Angel Reese, claiming that the Chicago Sky forward could not be as supportive as Clark.
One fan vowed to go to one of these games to catch Caitlin Clark.
Some said that Clark having a boyfriend is the reason why some of her peers allegedly hate her.
Another fan pumped up the fact that Indiana fans love Caitlin Clark.
The 2024 WNBA Rookie of the Year has gone special places during the offseason. She had attended pre-season practices for Butler before returning to Des Moines and reunited with former coach Jan Jensen and teammates at Iowa campus.
Now that the seasons started, Clark has shown her support to the Hawkeyes, but especially to the Bulldogs.
Caitlin Clark won’t play in inaugural Unrivaled season
Caitlin Clark was rumored to join the first-ever season of Unrivaled League, but after reports suggested that the new competition would make a big push to sign her, the former No. 1 overall pick decided not to play.
During a conversation with The Ringer WNBA show, league president Alex Bazzell said that Clark will have the door open to join the competition in 2026.
“LW, so now at the same time, like, of course, I’ve been on record saying Caitlin will always have a spot in our league, and that is true, right? Like, we always want to be a home for the best of the best. She’s also first-team all. W you know, we went through our negotiations. Inevitably, she needed time this offseason, which we respect, so we hope to see her next year. She won’t be playing this year.”
Meanwhile, the young star is enjoying herself and her family in the offseason while she plays golf and prepares for the 2025 WNBA season.
