It’s been a dramatic month in the world of reality TV. From things kicking off on Married At First Sight UK to the seventh (!!!) season of Love is Blind landing on Netflix, it’s safe to say we are well and truly seated for the tea. However, one of the biggest bombshells of all has been the drama between Stephen Richardson and Monica Davis. But how much did he actually send her way after their breakup, you ask? Well, that’s where we come in!

If you’ve been watching Love is Blind, chances are you were shocked to watch 37-year-old sales executive Monica and 34-year-old plumber Stephen’s relationship implode.

Despite aligning on everything from politics to personalities in the pods *and* their engagement reveal going well, they hit a rocky patch on their honeymoon, which only continued to impact their relationship in Washington. After Monica claimed she didn’t feel as though Stephen made enough effort and he unexpectedly shared his concerns over their future, she then discovered “disgusting” and “sexually explicit” messages from him to another woman on his phone.

Stephen apologized for his behavior and said she was “right” to be disappointed and upset with him, adding that he made “a completely stupid mistake, while being drunk.”

When it was clear that their relationship was over, Monica then insisted Stephen use Venmo to transfer her the money he owed her. It was both iconic and extremely sassy, and fans went wild for it.

And now, Stephen has revealed exactly how much he paid her via an Instagram Story. “How much do you think I owed her?” he wrote in a post, alongside a poll which gave followers the chance to guess the amount.

When one person guessed $500, Stephen said it was “closer than most,” before sharing another slide explaining the amount was more than $200 but less than $600. He then insisted he was always going to pay Monica back, writing, “I always pay what I owe. Even if it’s the last amount in my bank account while already I’m unemployed.”

So that’s that!
