Angel Reese’s coach Tyler Marsh brims with fatherly pride as 2yo son lives the NBA dream

Angel Reese’s coach Tyler Marsh was full of fatherly pride in his latest social media post. The Chicago Sky coach posted pictures of his two-year-old son’s first NBA game to his Instagram.

He accompanied a caption with his post thanking Brittni Donaldson, the Atlanta Hawks’ assistant coach.

“My guy’s first NBA game ✅…Thanks for the tix @brittni__d!❄️🥶🧊”

The first entry on the post featured a portrait of his son wearing an Atlanta Hawks jersey. The second entry saw a father-son selfie where Marsh held his kid in his lap.

The next two pictures featured his son riding an elevator and climbing stairs. They also stood alongside the Hawks’ assistant coach who helped them with the tickets.

The last picture showed the kid in the arms of Las Vegas Aces star Chelsea Gray.

Chicago Sky coach Tyler Marsh explains why he thinks Angel Reese is “undervalued”

Chicago Sky coach Tyler Marsh appeared on the Dec. 9 episode of the “No Cap Space WBB” podcast. During one segment of the podcast, Marsh was asked for his thoughts on coaching Angel Reese.

The former assistant coach for the LV Aces explained why he thought Reese was undervalued during her rookie season.

“I think she handled her rookie year great, Marsh said. “I mean, you set a record in rebounding and, to me, it’s still amazing that people kind of undervalue and undersell just what that was for a rookie.

“I think it’s kind of unfair, not just to Angel but a lot of the rookies in the W. They’re expected to do so much in so little time. They’re not given the grace to grow. We can’t take for granted just what Angel was able to do in her rookie year.

“She’s a winner. She’s doubted almost every year of her life and her career, and she continued to overcome, and that’s something you can build on. She hasn’t even scratched the surface yet of what I believe her potential could be.”

Angel Reese had an amazing rookie year where she averaged 13.6 points, 13.1 rebounds and 1.9 assists. She also led the league in rebounds for the majority of the season. However, she injured her wrist right before the end of the regular season and her team failed to clinch a playoff spot.
