Tyler Perry’s House of Payne | Calvin REFUSES To Act Right When Laura Is Out of Town!
Calvin’s behavior is really starting to raise some serious red flags, and it seems like his relationship with Laura is on shaky ground. Every time Laura steps out of the picture, whether it’s for work or wedding planning, Calvin can’t seem to keep his impulses in check. The moment she’s gone, he’s calling up Miranda and making plans for some “fun,” even though he’s already supposed to be committed to Laura. It’s one thing to feel drawn to someone from your past, but Calvin’s repeated actions are making it clear that he’s not ready for a stable relationship.
It’s almost as if Calvin’s true feelings are laid bare every time Laura isn’t around. As soon as she leaves, he’s calling Miranda, reminiscing about old times, and indulging in what looks like a pretty unhealthy dynamic. While he may not be actively cheating (yet), his actions suggest that he isn’t being honest with himself—or Laura—about what he wants. If Calvin truly cared about his future with Laura, wouldn’t he be more committed to making things work when she’s present? But no, he’s out there rekindling old flames the moment she’s not looking.
And then there’s the issue of his kids. It’s hard not to notice that when Laura is around, Calvin Jr. isn’t exactly thrilled about their relationship, while Miranda seems to have a stronger bond with both kids. Miranda knows how to be there for them in a way that Calvin’s relationship with Laura just doesn’t seem to match. It makes you wonder, what is it about Laura that Calvin is holding on to? Sure, she’s pretty, but their personalities just don’t seem to align, and that’s become all the more evident the longer we watch.
Let’s face it—Calvin is not cut out for marriage. He’s playing games, sneaking around, and showing little to no loyalty to anyone, including himself. The constant back-and-forth between Miranda and Laura isn’t doing anyone any favors, especially not his kids. It might be time for Calvin to take a long look at what he really wants, because right now, it doesn’t seem like he’s capable of giving anyone the commitment they deserve. If he’s not ready to settle down, he should just be honest about it instead of leading everyone on.
So what do you think? Should Calvin just stay single, or is there hope for him and Laura? Let me know your thoughts below.
