Season 10 Shake-Up: Is Tyler Perry’s Sistas Bringing In A Brand-New Sister Circle?

Rumor has it that she’s about to leave town, and if that’s true, it raises one big question: what happens to the Sister Circle if Karen, Aaron, and Faith are all gone?

To be honest, it already feels like the circle is unraveling. Danny’s done with Andy and her lies, and Andy’s tired of being grilled and judged by her friends. Their once-solid friendship has turned into a mix of secrets and resentment. And here’s the kicker — Andy’s best friend is Karen. Karen’s the only one she feels comfortable confiding in about her personal activities, if you know what I mean. She can’t open up to Danny or Sabrina without being called out — especially by Danny, who’s never afraid to speak her mind.

So, if Karen leaves — and I mean really leaves by the end of this season or in Season 10 — we’re looking at a major shake-up. The Sister Circle as we know it may never be the same again.

A Rotating Cast? The Sister Circle 2.0

Think of it like a band with a revolving lineup. Remember The Temptations? The original members kept changing — David Ruffin came in, then left, Dennis Edwards joined, Paul had to step back… and the group kept evolving. Or take New Edition — Bobby Brown was out, Johnny Gill was in. Even superhero teams like the Justice League or The Avengers rotate members all the time. The same could happen here.

The original “core four” — Andy, Sabrina, Danny, and Karen — could shift into something new. Fatima has always been an “honorary sister,” sitting on the sidelines, but if Karen leaves, she seems like the obvious replacement. Except… things between Andy and Fatima aren’t exactly friendly this season. And without Karen as a bridge, their bond could crumble further.

Danny and Andy’s relationship isn’t in great shape either. Andy never tells Danny or Sabrina what’s really going on in her life — she only shared that level of trust with Karen. And Fatima? Well, that bridge is burning fast. Karen and Andy were comfortable confiding in each other because neither judged the other’s bad decisions. Without that mutual secrecy, Andy’s left isolated.

New Faces, New Factions

Could someone like Pam step in? Maybe — but it’s unlikely. The girls still treat her more like comic relief than a true sister. If anything, Pam would fit better in a group with Maurice and Paige. We’ve already seen them together at the Steam Plant bar, and they’ve got good chemistry.

If the Sister Circle really dissolves, Sabrina might drift toward that new trio — Pam, Maurice, and Paige. We might even see multiple mini-circles, just like when The Temptations split into two separate groups for a time.

Meanwhile, Danny and Andy would continue prioritizing men over friendship. The only times they really hang out are when they’re gossiping about their love lives. Without Karen’s grounding presence, things could get even more superficial and strained.

The Future of Sisters — And BET’s Dilemma

Without Karen, Andy might try to fill that void, but it won’t work. Mixing friendship and business with Fatima already feels awkward, and jealousy is creeping in. Fatima still has Angela — though we haven’t seen her since Season 7 — but that’s not enough to rebuild the same chemistry the original Sister Circle had.

We might end up with a completely new lineup — Andy, Fatima, Danny, and Pam — or even some fresh faces entirely. That leaked behind-the-scenes photo from Season 10 showed Danny, Andy, Pam, Fatima, and a couple of unknown women — no Karen or Sabrina in sight. That says a lot.

If that’s the direction the show takes, it could mark a turning point. Some fans will welcome the change; others may see it as the beginning of the end. After all, when key cast members leave, the magic often fades. Just look at Living Single after TC Carson was fired and Kim Fields exited — or That ’70s Show when Topher Grace left and Randy stepped in. It’s rarely the same.

I don’t want to believe Season 10 will be the last, but it’s possible. Ratings have dropped, yet Sistas remains one of BET’s strongest shows. Without it, what does BET even have? The Oval isn’t pulling big numbers, House of Payne and Assisted Living aren’t doing it either.

So maybe, just maybe, Tyler Perry will keep Sistas going — even if it means rebuilding the Sister Circle from scratch. Like the MCU after losing Iron Man, Black Widow, and Captain America, the show might have to reinvent itself with new faces, hoping fans will stick around for the next era.
