‘Hostile’ alien spaceship hurtling towards Earth is advanced ‘mothership’ – here’s proof
Humans could be reached by aliens in less than 116 days, according to one Harvard professor, who says an unexplained object flying towards Earth might be a “hostile” alien spacecraft. Professor Loeb has been vocal about the possibility of a spaceship in the universe, but the item could now be considered a “mothership”.
Speaking to the Mail, Loeb even suggested we should send a message of friendship to the aliens, but later suggested that could be perceived as a threat. Unsure of what the interstellar visitor is, scientists dubbed the object 3I/ATLAS and have been going back and forth with several theories on what the object could be.
Popular theories suggest the object is simply a comet flying through the universe. However, Loeb suggests “alien technology” could be behind the appearance.

Loeb was particularly baffled by the object’s lack of tail. Comets through telescopes appear to have a clear tail made of dust. This, however, does not have one according to the professor.
He also noted that it is moving against the movement of the solar system, and is instead going against the order of the sun.
Loeb even suggested this could be a “defensive manoeuvre,” as if an alien ship would be trying to avoid a certain route. The object is set to disappear behind the sun in September, and might not be visible again until December.
The unexplained object will also pass nearby Venus, Mars and Jupiter. Loeb suggests this could even be a spacecraft attempted to get a good look in at the other planets in our solar system – perhaps to compare them to another.
Loeb noted the object will reach the closest point to the sun on the other side, making it invisible to Earth telescopes – and undetectable to our gadgets and radars.

It was first discovered on July 1, and if the object is an alien ship, Loeb warns that it could be carrying a probe or even a weapon. He predicts that such a vehicle would reach Earth between November 21 and December 5, 2025.
He explained: “It could come to save us or to destroy us. We better be prepared for both possibilities and verify that all interstellar objects are just rocks.”
Chris Lintott, an astronomer at the University of Oxford, has dismissed his claims, calling them “absolute nonsense”.
He told Live Science that the theory about an alien probe is an “insult to the exciting work that is being done to understand this object”.
However, some have suggested officials should not disregard theories into extra terrestrial visitors too quickly.
