‘Big Brother 27’ Finale Date Reveals a Lengthy ‘Summer of Mystery’ Ahead
Just two episodes deep, “Big Brother 27” has already served up plenty of classic reality TV drama between its 17 Houseguests. Still reeling from the reveal of the season’s mystery player – “Big Brother 13” winner Rachel Reilly – the cast must also worry about the Mastermind’s secret accomplice while they try to set their focus on dominating Power of Veto competitions, winning Head of Household, and avoiding Eviction if they want to make it to the end of the game.
But when, exactly, will “Big Brother 27” end? Here’s everything you need to know about the season’s airing schedule, live feeds, and finale date.
How Long Will ‘Big Brother 27’ Be?
“Big Brother” aired the premiere episode of its 25th anniversary season on July 10. The 90-minute premiere saw the houseguests compete in three different competitions, the surprise appearance of former winner Rachel Reilly, and the shock disappearance of host Julie Chen Moonves. The debut episode similarly saw houseguest Vince Parano named the season’s first Head of Household.
Though the exact duration of “Big Brother” varies from season to season, the Houseguests who make it to the end of the competition typically spend around three months isolated from the world in the “Big Brother” house. Season 27 specifically, will last 83 days, set to air its finale on September 28, 2025 on CBS. While certainly a lengthy season compared to other reality competitions shows, it doesn’t beat the longest ever season, “Big Brother 25,” which lasted a whopping 100 days.
When Does ‘Big Brother 27’ Air?
The premiere of “Big Brother 27” aired on Thursday, July 10 at 8:00pm ET on CBS. Subsequent episodes of the season will continue to air every Sunday, Wednesday and Thursday night until Sunday, September 28, when the finale of “Big Brothers” airs.
90-minute episodes will continue to air for the first week of the long-running reality series, taking over CBS screens from 8-9:30pm ET on Wednesday, July 16. After that, the 90-minute slot will be solely reserved for Wednesday nights, with Thursday and Sunday night episodes scaling back to an hour-long format.
Additional “Big Brother 27” content will be revealed in bi-weekly “Big Brother: Unlocked” installments. Airing every other Friday, starting July 25, from 8-9:00pm ET, the companion series will feature “three BB All-Stars (who) offer never-before-seen broadcast footage from the house, exclusive interviews, surprise guest appearances and unprecedented behind-the-scenes access. Former Houseguests (will) share firsthand insight and expertise as they analyze gameplay, assess the competition and give their insider’s perspective.”
Diehard “Big Brother” fans can also track Houseguests as they move throughout the house – even when the show’s not on air – by accessing live feed footage on Paramount+.
Where Can I Watch ‘Big Brother 27’ Online?
While fans can catch new episodes of “Big Brother’s” Summer of Mystery on CBS three nights a week, viewers without cable actually have a lot of options when it comes to keeping up to date with the season online.
New episodes of “Big Brother 27” will be available to stream on platforms like Hulu + Live TV, Direct TV and Paramount+ Premium, the day after they air on CBS.
How Can I Watch Live-Feeds for ‘Big Brother 27’ Online?
Live feeds from cameras placed throughout the “Big Brother 27” house are available, all day, every day, to any fans with an active subscription to Paramount+.
While live feeds used to be a major part of the diehard “Big Brother” viewing experience, its appeal has declined in recent years, particularly after the feeds’ flashback feature, which allowed viewers to go back and view footage from previous days, was removed by the streaming service in 2024. Ahead of Season 27, Paramount+ plus similarly removed the feeds’ live chat feature, which allowed fans to discuss the show in real time.
