The Love Island villa was rocked by a dramatic dumping last night, sharpening the Islanders’ awareness of their fleeting time and igniting raw emotions.
In an unexpected twist, Harrison, who seemed interested in Helena, decided to rekindle his romance with Toni—a stark turnaround given their very recent split.
Yet as Harrison sought a second chance with Toni, Harry disclosed lingering affections for Helena.
At the start of the show, viewers saw Harrison approach Toni about reigniting their spark, unwilling to discard their connection. Meanwhile, Helena caught a glimpse of the reconciled pair sharing a kiss on the Terrace, following Harrison’s commitment to refocusing on Toni.
Nonetheless, Helena appeared nonchalant, confiding to Meg that Harry had intentions of reuniting with her.
Skeptical fans questioned Harrison’s heartfelt pitch to Toni, suspecting his motives were more about playing it safe as he foresaw a reunion between Helena and Harry, reports the Mirror.
Social media, now known as X, was abuzz with viewer reactions, with one viewer surmising, “Harrison has clocked that Helena will always pick Harry. He is just securing his spot. I hope Toni is doing the same until someone she likes moves in.”
Another viewer expressed astonishment at Harrison’s abrupt change in direction, commenting, “The sudden SWITCH UP from Harrison is crazy like for the past few days you were saying how you wanted Helena and now all of a sudden it’s Toni?”.
One fan speculated: “Harrison has obviously gone back to Toni cuz he knows Helena is obsessed with Harry and knew there’s no competition where Harry is concerned cuz he’d ‘win,'”.
However, the following morning, Harrison and Harry were spotted cooking breakfast for Toni and Shakira, leaving the question of whether Harry and Helena will reunite unanswered. Dejon seems to think so.
Earlier, Dejon and Harry had a heart-to-heart conversation by the fire pit, reflecting on the recent dramatic events. Although Harry is currently paired with Shakira, it appears that neither he nor Helena can shake off the spark between them.
Dejon observed, “The way you are with Helena, that’s the H I know, but when you two [with Shakira] are together…” Harry confessed that it wasn’t the same.
Helena seems to share the same feelings, as she later told Meg and Dejon that she wanted to go to the Hideaway with Harry. They later went to talk privately in the Snug.
In a conversation with Helena about his connection with Shakira, Harry revealed: “I do like her, but obviously there’s always going to be you at the back of my mind. I know I’m going to have to make a decision at some point, but it isn’t today… just give me like a day.”
