Another Bravo Star Just Crashed ‘Love Island USA’ —And Outshined the Cast

Love Island Ariana Madix

Paige DeSorbo may have stepped away from the chaos of Summer House, but don’t mistake her exit for a retreat. The Bravo star just made a headline-grabbing guest appearance on Love Island USA, stealing the spotlight from the Islanders and proving she doesn’t need a Bravo beach house to dominate reality TV. In fact, her surprise cameo was so effortlessly commanding, it left viewers wondering if she’s already onto her next hit show — and if Love Island might need her more than she needs it.

Paige is a Love Island fan, and Summer House viewers know this bed bug loves catching up with her favorite reality shows, preferably in a comfy reclined position. Paige’s pop-up on Love Island USA shows the power of her personality, and that she has nothing to fear when it comes to making the transition from Bravo star, to multi-faceted entertainment professionalLove Island frequently has guest hosts to help with the games and keep the Islanders on their toes. Paige’s appearance proves her star power isn’t going to fade with her Summer House exit.

Paige Popped-Up on ‘Love Island USA’Paige DeSorbo 'Love Island USA'

Paige is in her single-girl era, and she knows something about the hijinks that go on in a summer share-house, so, of course, it only makes sense for her to pop-up in the summer’s hottest dating series. Although Paige may be single and ready to mingle, her appearance on Love Island USA was all business. Paige hosted the Islanders during a game subtly labeled “Got Wood,” where the contestants put on their best lumberjack impersonations as they competed in a series of slightly ridiculous challenges in a flimsy excuse to stir up trouble by having couples kissing multiple people in the Villa.

When Paige popped out of the “Got Wood” cabin, the Islanders were as excited as if they saw fellow Bravo-alum, Ariana Madix strut into the Villa in a stunning new outfit. The young women contestants were especially excited to see Paige, presumably, some being Giggly Squad “Gigglers.” Paige’s typical wry humor was present and accounted for, as she quipped that the Islanders were the sexiest lumberjacks she had ever seen, before swiftly acknowledging “not that I’ve seen a lot.” Paige didn’t have an opportunity to appear on set alongside Madix, but, when the Love Island: After Sun episode airs on Saturday this week, viewers will learn if Paige was able to catch up with her there.

Paige’s Star Power Is Fixed, Bravo Or Not

Paige’s fear that her success might vanish without the built-in fanbase from Summer House was understandable—if ultimately unfounded. In the midst of what felt like an existential crisis, she worried that walking away from both her high-profile relationship and the reality show that made her famous might cost her everything she’d worked so hard to build. However, Paige could have eased her fears if she had known how busy her life post-Summer House would be.

Even outside the Love Island Villa, Paige has been booked solid since her Summer House departure was announced. Not only has Paige launched her own YouTube series, Paige and Hannah Try New Things, featuring behind-the-scenes footage of her and her best-friend Hannah Burner’s Giggly Squad podcast tour, Paige has also just launched her sleepwear brand Daphne. Her intensely busy schedule left viewers briefly worried her departure from Summer House meant she wouldn’t be on their screens anymore. But Paige’s recent pop-up as a guest host on Love Island USA proves that Paige, like Ariana and Stassi Schroeder before her, is capable of creating a multi-faceted entertainment career, with or without the support of one specific network.
