Angel Reese has revealed a nasty insult she got after saying no to an autograph.

Angel Reese has revealed the horrible comparison one fan made between her and Caitlin Clark after failing to sign an autograph.

Reese has been one of the standout stars of the WNBA season after catching the eye for both her on and off-court actions.

A product of the Louisiana State University, Reese was drafted by the Chicago Sky as the seventh pick ahead of the 2024 season.

Despite being one of the best-performing rookies, Reese’s impressive debut season was outshone by Indiana Fever star Clark.

Clark was named the WNBA Rookie of the Year, taking all but one of the 67 votes.

It has led to unwanted comparisons between the two up-and-coming stars of women’s basketball, with Reese revealing one fan even went as far as saying ‘That white girl is better than you’ after the Chicago Sky ace snubbed an autograph.

Speaking on her own Unapologetically Angel podcast, Reese claimed: “Sometimes I [can] be busy, like I can’t sign everything. One man was like, ‘That’s why you [did] not [get] Rookie of the Year. And that white girl is better than you.’

“I’m like ok, you wanted me to sign your thing and now you don’t like me no more?”

It’s a small insight into the scrutiny Reese has faced during her first professional basketball campaign.

Reese has been criticised for her at-times extravagant off-court behaviours, including starting a podcast midway through the season and taking part in fashion shoots.

American broadcaster Joe Budden recently said: “I’ve seen Angel Reese wildin’ out… Angel Reese won’t sit her f—-in’ a– down… She won’t go sit down somewhere for a second. There’s value in it.

“This is going to sound like I’m telling women what to do. But I ain’t.”
