Love Island’s Millie and Liam address split and cheating rumours as Liam says ‘I was losing myself’

2021 Love Island winners Liam Reardon, who hails from Merthyr Tydfil, and Millie Court have revealed all in their new podcast together. The couple met on Love Island, were together for a year before splitting and are now back together and happier than ever.

In their new podcast Liam & Millie the couple addressed the history of their relationship. Straight after Love Island the couple moved in together in Millie’s home of Essex and this is when the relationship began to struggle, leading to their split.

Liam said: “Leaving your whole life you ever had back home to go and live in Essex, a place I’ve never been to before to then doing a job which I was never done before either, being with a girl who didn’t know really well. For the latest TV & Showbiz news

“You know, obviously getting to know each other while living together, it was just a lot for me and I struggled and I just found it really hard so, you, some people out there will understand that. And, I felt my only way was us to sort of, you know, I was losing myself, you know, and I thought I had to find myself again because no relationship is good if one person’s happy and the other person isn’t.”

They decided it would be best for Liam to move back to Wales and end the relationship, however they did state that Liam never cheated on Millie. There was a rumour that Liam cheated on Millie at Wireless Festival, which they both denied.

Millie said: “Liam wasn’t even at Wireless, he was with me… it’s over two weekends, so one weekend you was with me, and then the other weekend you went back to Wales, and um, obviously like you weren’t even there. Someone actually fully-fledged made up this rumour and it went viral and then you were getting really badly trolled for cheating on me, supposedly.” Since getting back together, with Liam living in Wales and Millie in Essex, the couple have enjoyed many trips across Wales,
