TikTok creator Rikki (@StoryTimeWithRikkii) revealed in a clip that the duo bonded over their heritage, quoting a highly reliable source. According to the source, “They had great conversations in the pods about their heritages (Senegalese vs. African American) so he was well aware that [Brittany] was black.”

However, the source also claimed that Mo failed to disclose that he had only dated white women before—yet still proposed to Brittany. Despite their engagement, Brittany suggested they give up their spot in Honduras and take the time to get to know each other back home. According to the source, things quickly went south, saying, “One day on a date, [Brittany] found out that he had exclusively dated white women and said he wasn’t sure he would ever be able to ‘get there’ with a Black woman, so she ended the engagement.”
