One of the most frustrating parts of Sistas Episode 20—aside from the one-month time jump—was Zach’s so-called revelation. After staring at that murder board for over a month, he finally pieced things together and called Fatima with a theory. But instead of listening, she rushed him off the phone. And when they finally talked, she brushed it off, saying, “They’re already pinning it on Jordan, so it doesn’t matter.”
The real frustration? We never actually found out what Zach figured out.
What Was Zach Really Looking At?
When Zach had his “Wait a minute” moment, he pointed at two key photos on the murder board:
- A picture of Andi and Gary at their wedding in Season 3.
- A photo of Andi and Gary sitting on a bench, taken by Leslie—the private investigator Jasmine hired in Season 1.
Now, let’s break this down. The second photo was originally taken because Jasmine suspected Gary of cheating. After she got her hands on it, she added the caption: “That woman stole my husband after he beat me” and plastered it all over Atlanta—police stations included.
So why did Zach suddenly make the connection?
Jasmine: The One Name Nobody Suspected
Most people assumed Zach realized Hudson or Marie was behind the attack, but that doesn’t line up with the clues he was focusing on. Instead, his reaction suggested that the real suspect wasn’t even on the board. And when he put it all together, the only name that made sense was Jasmine.
This doesn’t necessarily mean she did the stabbing herself, but it does support a theory I’ve been pitching for months:
- Marie, a billionaire, promised to “handle it.”
- She used her influence to get Jasmine out of jail.
- Jasmine was the one sent to stab Gary, ensuring he was out of commission.
- Marie and Hudson had a plan: once Gary was gone, Hudson would take power of attorney, sell Marie his assets, and she’d get the feds off his back.
It’s a perfect setup.
Did Jasmine Just Make a Comeback?
In the next episode, there’s a blink-and-you-miss-it moment: Andi walks around the law firm corner and looks shocked at a woman in the hallway. At first, I thought it was Penelope, but the silhouette and hair color suggest it could be Jasmine. If she’s really back, it means Zach’s theory might be right—and things are about to get messy.
