Are Love Is Blind’s Ben and Sara still together? Here’s the tea ☕
We’re well into the thick of Love Is Blind season eight and the drama is drama-ing (see: love squares and un-aired romances). Drama aside, there’s some strong couples in the mix this time around and, while there’s still four episodes to go (episodes 10 to 12 drop on 28 February followed by the final episode on 7 March), we can’t stop ourselves from wondering if any of them are still together. And the couple in question today? Ben and Sara.
Ben and Sara have had a bit of a bumpy ride so far on season eight (more on that in a minute) and although they can’t officially reveal anything about the current state of their romance until the reunion episode, we’ve done a deep-dive into their relationship. So, here’s everything you need to know about whether Love Is Blind‘s Ben and Sara are still together…
What has happened for Love Is Blind‘s Ben and Sara so far?
Despite having an initial connection in the pod, things weren’t smooth sailing for developer Ben and oncology nurse Sara. Their through-the-wall attraction was obvious, but in her one-on-one interviews and conversations with the other women, Sara admitted that their political differences might be an issue.
To recap, the pair had differing thoughts on the LGBTQIA+ community, with Ben referring to the community as “that group”. Similarly, Ben admitted to not knowing much about George Floyd and the Black Lives Matter movement, later revealing that he didn’t vote in the last election. This proved to be a bit of a sticking point for Sara, who said she couldn’t “teach fundamental values” to someone she’s dating.
Despite that, Sara still managed to find common ground with Ben elsewhere, and the pair got engaged. Since then, she’s reflected on their differences, telling Entertainment Weekly they appeared heightened because not every conversation is shown on TV and what is shown isn’t always in chronological order.
“I do want to emphasise there are so many hours that we talked, like 20-30 hours total, maybe even more,” she said. “But of course, they’re very intentional with what they show, and I’m glad that they showed the conversations that we had.”
“I went into proposal day actually not sure if I was going to say yes or no, because I wanted reassurance that these things would be something important for him to continue thinking about or talking about with me,” she went on. “And so I went in there expressing that, saying I don’t want to be your teacher, I want it to all come from internal motivation, I don’t want you to do it for me, I want you to do it for you and for us and for everyone around us.”
It was during that conversation that Ben gave her the reassurance she was looking for. “Ben told me he is a man of his word,” Sara revealed. “He’s a man of action, and he doesn’t want me to feel like I have that weight on my shoulders and that he would do that. And I trusted Ben, so I trusted his word.”
Ultimately, Sara says the decision to accept Ben’s proposal came down to his willingness to grow.
Are Love Is Blind‘s Ben and Sara still together?
There’s still a few weeks to go until the Love Is Blind finale, at which point we’ll get some definitive answers about the current state of Ben and Sara’s relationship, but in the meantime we’ve put on our investigation hat to find out any clues that might indicate one way or another.
The first positive sign that the couple are very much still together is Ben and Sara currently follow each other on Instagram. Of course, plenty of people still follow their exes on social media, so this is just speculation.
Speaking of Instagram, the pair have both shared posts from the show to their feed. While this could well be a stipulation of their Love Is Blind contestant contract, we can’t help but take these loved-up photos as a good sign… right?
On the flip side, there are also signs that Ben and Sara have parted ways since filming ended (which, according to reports, was in early 2024). In the same EW interview, Sara was asked if Ben voted in the most recent US election – you know, one of the most defining elections in recent history. “I don’t know if he did, haven’t asked,” she admitted, which seems odd. Surely you’d know whether your husband voted in *such* a monumental election?
Luckily, we haven’t got long to wait until we find out whether the pair said ‘I do’ — and if they continued on afterwards.
