Love Island’s Catherine and Omar share relationship update after show
Love Island stars Catherine Agbaje and Omar Nyame have shared a relationship update after their time in the All Stars villa.
The couple came fourth on the recent season of the reality show, and after departing the villa have spoken about their future plans together.
Speaking exclusively to Digital Spy in the immediate aftermath of the finale last week, Catherine confirmed that they have a “date coming up”, including double dates, and “so much to look forward to” in general.
“For us, it’s taking things one step at a time,” Omar added. “We’ve literally just been back, and I’m super happy with how things are going. There’s times when you’re busy and we can’t always talk, but when we get to speak [we’ll speak]”.
Asked what’s next for them, Omar shared that they want to focus on “more of us”, elaborating: “I feel like because not a lot of people actually got to see how we really gel, it’s for us to kind of like just show the world that really, how we are as a couple.”
“And just like explore things and actually get to know each other more personally outside,” Catherine added.
“Because we’re actually here for long term… we need to know that its not just post and post and post. It’s just like actually going on dates, actually spending quality time together and just see [if] is this really going to work? I feel that’s what we’re doing.”
Elsewhere, fellow All Stars contestants Ekin-Su Cülcüloğlu and Curtis Pritchard have shared an update on their future plans with DS.
“Either perhaps doing some stage work together, something like that, West End things,” Curtis said. “There’s gonna be stuff like newspaper stuff we’re doing together… but the main thing in terms of forgetting about that side of it is to do some dates.”
“Holidays! Holidays! Go on a holiday, me and you, somewhere hot [with] vineyards,” Ekin-Su further teased, as Curtis added that he would like a “little holiday” and “some nice dates”.
