Love Island star Toby Aromolaran speaks out as ex Chloe Burrows gets a new man
Love Island star looked back at his ‘perfect’ relationship with Chloe Burrows as she soft-launched her new relationship.
The footballer and reality star rose to fame on the ITV2 programme in 2021 and was runner-up with Chloe, with who he dated for a year until their breakup in late 2022. He went on to appear on Love Island Games and Love Island: All Stars where he briefly dated Georgia Steel.
In February, his ex Chloe launched her new romance with Ruben Moreira. She posted a picture on her Instagram Stories of the two and, later on, when a fan said they ‘loved a soft launch’, she shared a selfie on her Snapchat. In the picture, Ruben stuck his face close to the camera and stuck his tongue out.
Toby recently spoke about his time with her, which he called ‘fantastic’ as he sung her praises. He said: “I was angry after it finished and I went through the hate stage but that relationship was fantastic and we had a great time. It was basically perfect and I wouldn’t change it for the world.

“That relationship is a part of me and I’ll carry what I had with Chloe for the rest of my life. People say this about Love Island relationships. The connection is deep so I’ll feel connected to Chloe for the rest of my life. She might not be in my life but she’ll always be a part of my life.”
When asked whether there could ever be a reconciliation, he told Genting Casino : “No. For both of us. We’re different people. If it was meant to be we’d be together but it didn’t work. I think we’re at different stages of our lives and different people.
Last year, while appearing on All Stars, Toby insinuated Chloe cheated on him after the Islanders took part in a challenge which saw the stars vote him as most likely to cheat. The TV star was left in tears during recent scenes as he alluded to the fact that his ex had been the unfaithful one.
Chloe seemingly addressed the claims and insisted ‘she would never cheat.’ Speaking out on her podcast, the star told her best friend Millie: “Every boy I have ever been with who has gone on holiday has cheated on me. There is something about different water means different morals.”
Millie replied: “You know what it is, it’s out of sight out of mind.” Chloe then joked: “Ewww, my god I am going to be single forever.”
