The Love Island villa has reportedly seen a shock dumping, with two girls sent packing.
It tops off a highly dramatic week in the villa, as chaos erupted with the arrival of new bombshells Chuggs Wallace and Samie Elishi. Samie and Luca had exchanged DMs on the outside, and it all kicked off with Grace Jackson when Luca chose to kiss her during a game of truth and dare spin the bottle.
To top it off, the public decided that Samie should couple up with Luca, leaving Grace single. Thursday night’s episode ended on a cliff hanger, as fans wait to see which Islander Samie chooses to snog in the game of Snog, Marry, Pie.
Now, a source has revealed that the next recoupling leads to brutal implications. “Two stars were dumped after a shock recoupling was announced – everyone was so upset by the result,” the source told The Sun. “There were tears and a lot of dirty looks, it was gutting for the axed islanders as it’s just days away from the final week.” The Mirror has reached out to ITV/Love Island for comment.
Last night, viewers saw Luca and Samie head out on their first date, and although they’re coupled up, he decided to sleep outside with Grace. The news comes just days after former Love Island star Amy Hart “accidentally let slip” the date of the All Stars final during the show’s daily podcast. Amy confirmed that the final will be held “two weeks away”, meaning that the series’ finale date will land on Monday, February 17.
This villa has been rocked with drama this year, with two All Stars deciding to walk within days of each other. Last week, it was Scott Thomas who was the first to announce his departure. The 36-year-old, who was coupled up with Made In Chelsea star Tina Stinnes revealed he “didn’t want to force” a connection in the villa. His emotional departure left the cast in tears and then, days after, Ron Hall announced he’d be following suit.
Ron was coupled up with bombshell Danielle, and although the pair got on, there was no romantic connection. “I know we’ve just lost Scott, and I know it’s s**, but it is my time… There’s only so much that I can do, sitting in the sun, just sort of staring at the door for the right person. I just don’t know whether that right person is going to come in for me so I am going to go tonight,” Ron said during his departure.
Danielle is now coupled up with Chuggs due to the public’s decision, while Tina, who is also getting to know the bombshell, is currently single.
