Tyler Perry’s Zatima | Was Leslie Disguising Her Voice To Trick Zac?
This theory about Leslie using AI or voice mimicking technology to impersonate Fatima during the phone call to Zach is super intriguing, and after rewatching the scenes, it’s definitely starting to make more sense. The idea that Leslie, possibly with her connections (thanks to her FBI husband), could have used some kind of software to pull off this trick isn’t far-fetched at all. It’s pretty wild how advanced technology is these days, with people being able to manipulate voices and identities so easily—so it’s not a stretch to think Leslie could’ve done the same to mess with Zach.
When you go back and look at the phone call, you see a few hints that make this theory more plausible. Fatima’s voice might’ve been mimicked to the point where Zach didn’t even notice. And the fact that the person on the phone says they’re going to stop by the store before coming home? That’s a perfect setup for what ends up being a surprise evening for Zach. But when Fatima shows up, empty-handed and surprised by the rose petals, it leaves the door open for Leslie’s involvement in orchestrating everything.
The shadow following Zach up the stairs is another clue that points away from Fatima being the one behind it all. And it would make sense that Leslie, using this kind of trickery, would want to mess with Fatima and Zach’s relationship, possibly to get back at her for whatever past issues they’ve had.
It’s definitely an interesting twist, and while the Malachi and Leslie subplot may have felt a little unnecessary in these episodes, this phone call theory gives their involvement more weight. Whether Leslie’s motives are clear or not, it seems like she had something to do with the chaos Zach’s about to walk into.
What’s your take—do you think Leslie orchestrated this whole situation, or do you still believe it was all a setup by Fatima? Let me know in the comments!
