Love Island All Stars favourite set to ‘quit’ days after entering villa
Love Island All Stars could see an early departure as worries rise over Ron Hall after his dramatic arrival in the South African villa. The 27-year-old, who was a finalist onĀ Love IslandĀ in 2023 alongside makeup artist Lana Jenkins, 25, before they parted ways, has suggested he might leave the show if the situation of watching his ex-partner get cosy with other men arises, according to the Mirror.
Speaking on his podcast ‘I’m Wrong, He’s Right’ with co-Islander Tanyel Revan, Ron revealed: “There’s a more difficult scenario if I was to be in there… if, obviously Lana would be in there, it would be a little bit trickier.”
He said: “I would just leave this time. If I was having a bad time, I would just go.”
Tanyel, while advising him to stay, acknowledged Ron’s discomfort at the idea of seeing Lana with someone else. Ron expanded on his thoughts, explaining: “Don’t get me wrong, this is hand on heart, honest truth. If, hypothetically we were both on there, and she was cracking on with other fellas, which would happen, and other blokes that I probably know…
“Like, what bloke… it’s such a beta male thing to be in a villa with your ex-missus cracking on with other fellas and actually watching it.”
As fans eagerly await to see if Lana will make an appearance in South Africa, she seems to bear no ill feelings towards Ron, especially after her teasing jab at him on Instagram, reportsĀ The Mirror.
Following his return to the villa, Lana seemed to subtly mock the Essex lad by sharing an Instagram story of herself smirking with her face in her hands, and the words: “Stop it right now.” Lovebirds Lana Jenkins and Ron Hall, who became a couple during the Winter 2023 series of Love Island and ended as runners-up to Kai Fagan and Sanam Harrinanan, have called it quits three months after the show.
The latter pair have recently got engaged. Lana and Ron, initially seen as a perfect reality TV pairing, reportedly parted ways amicably.
A source told the Mail: “Lana and Ron really put everything into their romance and have tried to make things work for some time now. Unfortunately, they have decided to separate, which is a decision they have made amicably and of course, they still remain good friends.”
It was also revealed that the challenge of travelling between Manchester and Essex, along with their busy work schedules, proved too much for them to handle.
