Tyler Perry’s Zatima | Does Leslie Want Zac?
Tyler Perry’s Zatima | Does Leslie Want Zac?
I’ve been rewatching Sistas Season 3, Episode 16, and there’s a lot to unpack here, especially when Zach comes downstairs and has that intense conversation with Malachi and Leslie while Fatima’s upstairs getting ready. The dialogue really stood out to me, and there was this recurring theme of Leslie calling Zach “baby,” which got under my skin a little. At one point, even Fatima catches it, asking “baby?” and Zach’s like, “Yeah, I know, right?” Leslie’s whole demeanor was off—combative, downplaying Zach, and making sure Fatima knows about his past convictions, his temper, and everything in between. It felt like she was trying to sabotage their relationship on purpose.
Leslie definitely gives off some Belinda 2.0 vibes, but the twist here is that she’s technically the original Belinda. She and Fatima were friends long before Belinda came into the picture—back in their college days. Fast forward to Episode 20, titled “To Die For,” and we’re seeing Leslie cross a line. The synopsis teases that she does the “unthinkable,” putting her friendship with Fatima in serious jeopardy. Could it be that Leslie is about to make a move on Zach, just like Belinda did in the past? This feels like a re-run of what went down with Malachi and Fatima years ago, and Leslie could be trying to go after something she couldn’t have.
There’s also a lot of history between Leslie and Malachi. Malachi has confessed that if he had the chance to be with Fatima again, he would, and he’s been comparing every woman he’s been with to Fatima. So it seems like Leslie might have had her own feelings for Malachi back in the day—was it because she couldn’t have what Fatima had? Maybe she pursued him because of that. We can’t ignore the fact that Leslie even mentioned how Malachi said he still had feelings for Fatima. That confession definitely has me questioning where Leslie stands with Zach, and if she’s plotting something with him.
Looking back to Episode 18, we saw that Fatima and Zack were debating trust issues, possibly stemming from Malachi’s lingering feelings for Fatima. Will Malachi confess his love to Fatima? How will Fatima respond to that? It seems like a real mess is coming, and I’m intrigued to see how it all plays out.
Now, some of y’all have pointed out that I’m just interested in Leslie’s storyline because it’s going to paint Fatima in a bad light, but that’s not it. I’m genuinely curious to see where this goes. What I didn’t like about Episode 16 was how the whole Zach arrest situation was wrapped up. It felt rushed, and honestly, it didn’t do justice to the buildup. But this Leslie situation? It’s got me hooked. I feel like there’s a lot of hidden resentment in Leslie—Malachi has always been comparing every woman to Fatima, and now, maybe Leslie wants to break up Fatima and Zach because of it. It’s like some twisted karma.
Leslie might be trying to claim what Fatima has had all along, and it’s messy. Think about it: Leslie probably had her chance with Malachi and messed that up, and now she’s got her sights on Zach. So what do you think—does Leslie secretly want Zach? Let me know your thoughts in the comments below. I’m definitely excited to see how this all plays out.
