Tyler Perry’s Zatima | Season 3 Episode 15 Review: Everybody Knows
Fatima calls the cops on Angela’s behalf after hearing the commotion between Angela and Jake over the phone. Jake wants his phone back, but Angela refuses to return it. While I get the tension here, I don’t understand why she wouldn’t give it back—it wasn’t going to change anything. Anyway, when the cops arrive, Jake gets taken away, but just before that, Angela finds a hidden camera in her flower pot, freaking out. Fatima tries to figure out who could’ve set her up, and she suspects an old sugar daddy of Angela’s, Humphrey.
Fatima contacts Leslie and Malachi, hoping they can help. She initially wanted to take a legal route and sue, but Angela doesn’t want her private business exposed, so they go with the FBI instead. Meanwhile, Fatima’s thinking about Zach, but Angela insists Fatima focus on helping her first.
After some back and forth, Fatima gets the idea to set up Humphrey, trying to get him to incriminate himself. It doesn’t go as planned. Humphrey denies everything, and Angela kicks him out. Then, out of nowhere, Bryce shows up, asking about smoke detectors, and Angela accuses him of being involved in the whole setup. Confused yet? So are they.
Zach’s dealing with his own drama, confronting Tony and Connie, who seem happy to see him out of jail, but Zach isn’t having it. He’s upset they didn’t lift a finger to help him when Fatima was handling things. He feels abandoned, especially since they didn’t tell him about Jeremiah being alive. Connie tries to convince him to apologize to Jeremiah, but Zach isn’t backing down.
Later, Zach drops off Nate, and things get even more confusing. Fatima seems to be neglecting Zach, just like Priscilla did with Sam on The Oval. It’s starting to look like Fatima’s priorities are all over the place, and it’s creating a lot of tension between her and Zach. He feels neglected, and this could lead to trouble.
This episode was a bit of a setup for Episode 16, but it was a bit frustrating at times. The constant back and forth with Fatima and Zach, especially with how she’s handling the situation, was a little much. But hey, let’s talk about it in the comments below!
