9-1-1: Nashville Gets A Fiery First Trailer, & Establishes A Major Plot Point
On the show’s official Facebook page, 9-1-1: Nashville revealed its first trailer and highlighted how music will have a big connection to the spinoff. As chaos unfolds in the teaser, with fire everywhere, the brief teaser highlights the main cast and underlines the fact that Nashville’s status as Music City will be a significant focus of the upcoming spinoff. This is further illustrated by a cover of Johnny Cash’s “Ring of Fire.”
What This Means For 9-1-1: Nashville
Expect Country Music-Related Emergencies
With a 9-1-1: Nashville cast that also includes Hailey Kilgore, Michael Provost, Juani Feliz, and Hunter McVey, the first teaser for the spinoff promises that wild emergencies will be plentiful. At least for the first several episodes, maybe for the first season, those emergencies may well be focused on the world of country music. But there is a lot less known about the spinoff’s characters, which is a huge part of what has made the franchise so viable since its 2018 debut.
Our Take On 9-1-1: Nashville So Far
It’d Be Good To Combine The Two
Just like the main 9-1-1 show combined rescues with ruinous secrets, the 9-1-1: Nashville spinoff hopes some combination of that mixture will attract attention. Thus far, an exact release date has not yet been announced. But, ultimately, the main factor to success will have more to do do with how well the cast play off each other and how they fill the void created by the divisive 9-1-1: Lone Star ending.
