‘9-1-1: Lone Star’: Is [Spoiler] Getting Killed Off Ahead of Series Finale?

9-1-1: Lone Star has fans worried ahead of the series finale in February.

In the latest promo for the upcoming Season 5 episode, it appears that one star might be put into a lethal situation.

The 9-1-1: Lone Star Season 5, Episode 9 teaser reveals what’s to come in the “riveting” fall finale, which will likely result in a cliffhanger. The promo teases that the episode will have a “shocking twist.”

Carlos Reyes (Rafael Silva) is told to “take the shot… that’s an order, ranger” in the teaser, then gets shot and falls down.

One episode before, Carlos got a new clue in his father’s murder case, with an informant his dad had been in contact with telling him that he shouldn’t trust Ranger Campbell (Parker Young), Carlos’ new partner.

However, in an interview with Entertainment Weekly, 9-1-1: Lone Star co-showrunner Rashad Raisani seemingly confirmed that Carlos won’t die.

“All truth is laid bare for Carlos,” he explained. “In some ways it’s the end of Carlos’ mission. Well, it’s the end of his quest but the beginning of his life’s mission, meaning he will get to the bottom of who killed his father and it will be painful and exhilarating and peace-giving, but it only opens his eyes to a deeper possibility of who Carlos can be now that he’s solved that murder.”

Gina Torres, who plays Tommy, also confirmed to TV Insider that everyone is going to survive leading up to the series finale.

“We all make it to the end of the season, so let me just put everybody at ease right away,” she said, teasing: “It ends as it should. You’ll see us united and you’ll see all those people and all those relationships that everybody out there has invested in for all of these seasons.”

Episode 9 airs on December 2. The series finale will air on February 3, 2025.
