9-1-1 has shocked viewers with its intense twists and turns since it first premiered back in 2018. Complete with a team of alluring firefighters, the 118 crew have experienced their fair share of intense events, all of which add to the audience’s entertainment. Thus, this vibrant and diverse firefighter drama has managed to keep fans hooked for years.
Ryan Murphy also adds a touch of hysteria to this show, which is similar to a lot of his other work. Thus, fans get to enjoy a whirlwind of drama and surprise, particularly when it comes to some of the cases. But some of these cases are so intense that fans can only bear to watch them once.
A Man Gets an Unwanted Surprise From His Sushi
Season 1, Episode 7, “Full Moon (Creepy AF)”
Although we are all aware of the risks that come from eating too much raw fish, most people roll their eyes and continue to dive into their latest batch of sushi. But after watching Connor contract a tapeworm from eating too much raw sushi, fans can’t look at this episode the same way. In “Full Moon (Creepy AF),” Connor seems to be having issues going to the toilet and complains that he can feel something inside of him. His boyfriend just shrugs it off as constipation.

Eddie Diaz is quite a loveable character, so it was a bit of a shock watching him tear another guy up during a cage fight. After landing a few knockout punches, Diaz notices that his opponent is not breathing properly. Since this is an illegal fight, the owner refuses to call the emergency services, so Eddie is forced to deal with this problem on his own. As such, he puts his fingers into the man’s mouth and pulls a chunk of his nose that had slipped down the back of his throat during the fight.

To add insult to injury, he just can’t stop sneezing. But, at the last moment, he prepares for a giant sneeze, and instead of releasing a plethora of germs, he actually releases his intestines.
